Ancestors that were FORCED OUT of Ireland because of there PROTESTANT beleivesYou're confusing 'Irish' with Catholicism.
We were all RC's before the Reformation.
Go back far enough and a goodly proportion of our distant ancestors came from Ireland.
Skimpy stuff.

Just watched 'scotland today' there.
Doncaster , o'regan , Milne , popcorn teeth , tommy Sheridan & George Galloway all appeared.
I think I set a world record for the amount of times you can say the word 'bastard' in 30 minutes.

Im no Ally basher but I think it was a mistake to publicly denounce the team as the worst in Rangers history, I think we saw the
psychological impact of that today, silly thing to do Ally.
Good statement, you should never critisize in public, that should be done in private

Glad this is gathering pace in the press. I was worried this would be buried by our fair and impartial media.
I think we should put as much pressure on as many people as we possibly can to force an investigation into this shocking attempt at what amounts to...extortion.
More like,,,,Blackmail

I liked how many times the wankers changed their tune re our clubs status, when they scored they celebrated vociferously - beating the mighty Rangers is a moment to cherish, yet seconds later we weren't Rangers any more. Too much smack methinks!
On the Sectarian issue, we're pissing against the wind trying to point out double standards. As long as the minority Catholic population of Scotland aren't offended then nothing will be done.
It's only( HIGH SPIRITED BANTER ) untill RANGERS fans chant F.T.P then it's a SECTARIAN issue

fuckoff with this toys oot the pram cry babies on this site.
the team isnt built to win at Dundee Utd this season. If you cant see that it will take another year to build a team then you are a fool
still guys like Faure and Cribrari should not be at the club but what can you do when our top experianced players like Shiels and Black dont turn up?
Totally agree, could take a couple of years,
once the (CONSPIRED) transfer embargo is lifted. and money is spent to get players of a better caliber
then and only then should the manager and training staff, answer for poor performances of there
signings!!!!!

If all these young lads stay at IBROX and gel into maturity,
Rangers can become invinsable,

I don't believe the famine song is racist in any way, no, and to be honest I don't remember the media coverage but I will take your word for it that it was considered racist. This however is just the tabloid media stirring shit to sell papers as it always does, I think it is easier to make the racist accusation when the target is clearly of one background (not race), such as Ireland, than if it merely targets a football club which is open to all backgrounds, races etc and is a choice to join.
Again I want to state that it is certain in my opinion that neither are racist, just that if the media wants to exaggerate either it is much easier to rationalise with the famine song.
I think the cases are, while similar on the surface, too fundamentally different to compare as such, but I am sure if Celtic began to sing regularly and widely about murdering British citizens the media (who are British) would jump on it the same way as it will sell papers.
Just my two cents.
They have been singing and praising the ira for years,
who have murdered innocent civilians for years
This is why you plead NOT GUILTY
