:D ...I thought this said Edu at first.But seriously, he's going to get so much racial abuse and free bananas from the St. Petersburg fans. And in case anyone is thinking this can't be in keeping with Uefa financial fair play, well in Russia the finances of football teams aren't exactly the same on paper as what they are in reality, so it will probably say he gets 20 grand a week or something.

The problem is that he has no decent player beside him. McCulloch simply DOESN'T move off the ball. Edu needs players to come and give him options when he receives the ball. It actually seems to be the same problem with the whole team, as soon as someone gets the ball players are running away from him (looking for a long ball) so any chance of playing a simple pass is gone, they then have to try something risky or just punt it forward to Jelavić (or as is often the case...no one in particular).
I'm not saying Edu is a fantastic player, he just isn't as bad as he is made to appear by the tactics and players around him. Still, I would rather have Hutton, Ness, Fleck or Bendiksen before him.

And what has Healy done to be worth ANYTHING? I honestly don't think anyone would touch him, McCulloch likewise.
However Jelavić and McGregor should be able to command fees of £10m plus, that's a positive.

Well, I have an idea. Scotland is not a country, the country is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and within this country Scotland is something like a region. (If anyone doubts this I can provide information to back this up). So imagine the Barclays Premier League decided, no club from the North of England can compete in our league, there would be outcry, but in reality this is no different from saying that Rangers or Celtic cannot somehow be promoted into that league.
So, we argue to Fifa (or the European Court of Human Rights) that clubs based in Scotland are being discriminated against for political reasons or some shit like this. Again, imagine Barcelona were no longer allowed to compete in La Liga because they are from Catalonia, it would be completely illegal. Scotland has no less actual independence than Catalonia so this is a good comparison.
Anyway, If this argument stands up, then they cannot stop us from somehow gaining entry to their pyramid system...even if it meant that the winners of the SPL would be promoted into the Conference or something.
It would probably lead to the dissolution of the SFA...what a shame. Probably also an all British national team...meh...that's another issue, although personally not something I would mind.
So there, this is my motherfuckin' crazy ass plan that cannot fail. I do hope Craig Whyte posts here.

Tbf, our away one is bad this year...but the "modernised bumblebee" as they call it, is pretty awful. I just wish Rangers would switch away from Umbro...the material used just does not seem to be of the same quality as Adidas or Nike.
