I reckon it might be the only way we could afford to retain even some of the better players. Wage bill reduced. Key players performing at a decent level while we are down for a season. Still likely to be picked for their countries if playing in championship as opposed to div 1.
-
Is this an option. If we go down, say,to div 1 for a year,is it feasible that we allow any player wishing to stay with Rangers to go out on loan for a year to the likes of the Championship or EPL. I'm thinking of the likes of Naismith & MacGregor. Davis, Boca,McCabe,Aluko seem likely to move on. I'm hopeful Jig,Broadfoot,Wallace,Fleck,Bedoya,Ortiz,Ness,Perry,Alexander and a few other youngsters may stay on.
-
I would guess Davis,Whittaker and perhaps Edu and Goian will likely be away. With any luck we can keep hold of Shagger & Naismith and re-sign Aluko.

I used to be a defender of SDM. And although I'm still not convinced he was an out and out crook of Whyte proportions,i think it is now clear for all to see that the gambles HE took with our spending got us into this mess. And the reckless fashion in which he allowed LLoyds to dictate policy and sell to a charlatan like Whyte have resulted in us being brought to our knees and been the source of daily ridicule in every newspaper and phone-in every day for a year now. Murray had his chance to put things right. He could have fronted The Blue Knights buy-out,or coughed up alone, righted the vessel and left the club in the hands of a truly trustworthy body. SDM's legacy is forever mud. Auchenhowie MUST be renamed asap.
As far as losing titles is concerned. We all know what we won,and no one can take away the amazing days we had lifting those trophies. We still have the dvds to rel-live those moments over and over again. If Liewell and others think that the only way they will ever come close to our 54 titles is to strip ours and doctor their tally, then i firmly believe that is a small price to pay for the continued survival of our club. We WILL be back on top again, where we belong. We WILL again amass a title tally that they cannot catch. We WILL be back stronger and better than before because WE TRULY ARE THE PEOPLE.

Last home game of the season we did a crawl of many of the PRW pubs after the game, and in the bar that used to be The Doctors (Quayside perhaps) there was a brilliant cd playing, featuring an amazing Rangersized version of Steve Earle's Copperhead Road. Any Bears Know where i can find an mp3 of this to tide me over until i locate the cd?
Many thanks.
Edit. In fact it was The Lord Nelson.

Looks as if the money will be going to Rangers aftrer all.
As per website the target of over 5000 scarves in the post will be met tomorrow with the vast majority if not all of the Online Orders in Wednesdays post - thanks to fantastic efforts by all concerned and an additional boost from an unexpected source which I hope I can name and give some credit to tomorrow After a meeting at Ibrox today we are delighted to be able to announce that the JJB Megastore have taken a supply of Red and Black Scarves and hopefully they will be available tomorrow Rangers have also given permission for us to sell Red and Black Scarves INSIDE Ibrox in concourses for the Milan and St Mirren games A massive thank you to all concerned for their efforts -
Will they be available inside the concourses for the scum game?

So can someone explain the reason behind the new scarf I have heard three differant stories....
Are you Alan Brazil?
-
Both i'd say. Rhys McCabe looks like a tidy player as well, judging by what I saw against Hamburg.
McMillan at RB. Cant be any worse than Kirk or Whitt, and Barclay looked less than assured there to me yesterday.

is it just me?
Maybe I have been banned again, been trying from yesterday and get nothing???????????????
I noticed this too. Maybe routine site maintenance?

Could do with proper commentary for matches not covered by usual outlets. In fact, proper coverage for ALL Rangers matches.
