  1. Misleading threads like this do my nut in. We all would like to know how injured players are progressing and all we get are nonsensical puns. It's my view that those that contribute to such threads be in receipt of an autoban. That'll learn em.

ahahahahahaah thats quality mate!!! just burst out laughing like an absolute idiot there.

  2. Nice post, the just wanting to see Ibrox thing brings back memories from my own childhood, almost stretching my neck for that wee glimpse from the M8,then when crossing the Kingston bridge eyes glued left, happy times these, thanks for bringing those thoughts to mind

    Hahaha!!

I thought i was the only grown man still doing that! Wether its in the car or glued to the window of the train, anything for a glimpse of that facade!!!!!

OP. good post mate, we need these feelgood, nostalgic posts from time to time!!!

    Onwards and upwards!!!!

  3. Im just glad that all that media nonsense from last year didnt affect this years event. There were so many people outwith our support trying to cast a dark cloud over this special day, and there is no doubt in my mind that they were wanting this cancelled in the future.

Last year was without doubt my greatest day at ibrox.

Wasnt lucky enough to get an invite this year so i will gladly pay the money and cheer my brothers/sisters in arms on from the stands. Bit gutted tbh as i wont ever get the chance again as im outside in a few months.

Hope everyone has as good a day as im planning on!

  4. That is pretty gut wrenching tbh.

This guy will have so much to deal with just now and the most important thing on hIs mind is his team.

The thing is lads, we all know what Rangers means to us as fans. Maybe something like this might just highlight how Important it is to give your all in every game when you pull on the jersey.

I really dont think our players realise how big a part Rangers play in our everyday lives.

All the best sunnyjim, hope your last days and months stretch into years.

  5. Well said, and written mate. A great uplifting post.

wish I had read that this morning when I was feeling a bit down lol!

been a while since I have read a post on here that has stirred the emotions of what feels like an eternity ago.

Hopefully over the summer and next season our support can galvanise somewhat, there are definately large hurdles ahead but there is not one that we cannot overcome TOGETHER!

Onwards and upwards, the summit awaits!

  6. BTW, has anyone heard of anybody ever being given a lifetime ticket to Ibrox? has anyone read of anybody ever being given a lifetime ticket to Ibrox? has anyone ever seen a tv report of anybody ever being given a lifetime ticket to Ibrox?

    Anyone?

    Ever?

    Holy shit, ok im convinced......

    get the bheast banned lol!

  7. Understood, however, some people are too keen to slate the club on this forum before facts are presented, that's all.

The OP has pasted a FB post, that I have explained makes no sense; re the alleged gentleman's age or war record.

The amount of guests/lurkers reading this should imo also be a clue as to the veracity of the original statement.

Cool, I should maybe stop being so trusting in people, just thought it was too detailed to be fabricated.

Also, im on my phone so dont have visibility of lurker numbers lol!

  8. Not if he is 87 and lost the leg in Germany during WWII, as the OP states. He did not state that he lost his leg in Occupied North Africa or that he lost it on Commando Raids in Germany (which ones exactly were you thinking about?). And, if you read the thread, my comment was in reply to the proposition that the person (real or imagined) was domiciled in Germany pre war.

Still, if it helps you to get offended.

Its not about getting offended mate, sometimes people are too keen to ridicule people on this forum before facts are presented, thats all.

I was just trying to justify the OP as he may have been ignorant to exactly where the gentleman served and subsequently got injured.

Im just fed up with infighting between us all, its starting to get out of hand.

  9. Might have been during the North African campaign.

he may also have served in the combined operations (commandos) and taken part in the many raids accross german occupied europe??? Think people should lay off the OP until they know the facts. Some people on this forum need to grow up.

  10. I just hope that an investigation does take place, it seems that only attacking/investigating/reporting/bashing our club carrys the gaurentee of being selected for print in our papers and news outlets these days. And everone knows thats how awareness is promoted.

Given the calibre of teams being investigated in spain, then surely a dossier should be being compiled as we speak in the corridors of power within Uefa HQ.

Imagine the irony! Septic guilty of financial doping! Getting excited at the thought of them being tarnished with the same crimes we were found not guilty of....

    Then again, pigs might fly........

  11. Look at you, yes it's about sharing experiences, not lying.

Do you even know the meaning of Irony ?

No pal, i have not started the abuse, just thought you were lying, you're the scumbag.

As I stated before it is not a lie, I am not on here to seek attention, especially from children like yourself, as it makes absolutely no difference to my life whatsoever. You are entitled to think what you want, just dont mouth off at people.

I was going to share my good experience about Nicky Clark at halftime at ibrox on Armed Forces but dont want to seem like an attention seeker now do I!

Yes is the answer to your question, I know the meaning of irony, just as I know the meaning of honesty and integrity.

Lets draw a line under this now pal. Its acheiving fuck all and taking away from the purpose of the thread.

But thanks for helping me get my post counts up a bit, one day I may be as prolific a poster as yourself!

  12. Because you're seeking attention, all yous under 100 posts dicks do that.

LOL, Yeah i'll keep quiet and not give my opinion, I'll fucking post when i want (tu)

    Seeking attention? Get a grip.

The thread is about sharing experiences with players.

What difference does it make how many posts I have made? Maybe if I trawled the threads looking for the oppertunity to criticise people and come the cunt I could build up a bigger post count!

The first thing I do every morning is check for new news storys, opinions and articles on this forum, if I was wanting attention I would make a post every day surely?

This is the only social media site I am a member of, I am not on facebook/twitter/snapchat or any other you can think of, why? Because I dont crave attention and I dont share every aspect of my life in the public domain.

Oh the fucking irony of you is unreal!

PS thanks, been on this forum for nearly two years, and this is the first time I have had crossed words with anyone; so thank you for dragging me down to your level. DICK!

  13. Met Ugo Egiogue (fuck knows if thats how you spell it) in One Up in the city centre.

    Arrogant fud of a man.

He was with Charlie Adam, Allan Hutton and Allan Mcgregor that night all of whom were sound, they bought me and a mate a drink and invited us to join them as we were thanking them for their efforts in the previous old firm game.

That big arrogant bastard just stood there with a couple of scrawny mid thirty blondes hanging of either arm ignoring us. Offered him a drink as a thanks for the goal he scored againt the unwashed and he told me he didnt need me to buy one for him.

    Complete knob jockey!

Anyway the other three were sound as... even took us round to Karbon and got us in with them, hung about with them for a bout ten minutes then they fuckedoff to search for fanny lol!

Ended up seeing Mcgregor later on asleep in a booth totally ringbolted!

Quite a surreal night for a 22 YO season ticket holder who had never met a Rangers player before.

  14. Meant to add, this is purely my opinion.

Everyone is entitled to make their own decisions and I would never criticise a fellow fan for having differing veiws.

Thats what makes us special, we have such a HUGE diverse group of fans, therefore it is enevitable that opinions will vary.

Everbody makes decisions because they beleive its whats best for our club.
