  2. I've had my season ticket in club deck since it opened. I'm row f and at 6ft I have a line below each knee engraved from the seat in front. As everyone says brilliant view but row d is even worse for leg room and u have to contend with the security barrier separating hospitality and row d. The barrier is just below my head height when sitting down

  4. Dundee have announced we are to play them at dens park on the above date. It is to celebrate 120 year anniversary of Dundee fc. I know a lot of players will not play for the first month of the season but I think the amount of friendliest we have is getting a bit ridiculous.

  5. No need to invite another team. I would like us to have a blues v whites match. They will probably do this in training at some stage of build up, so why not play it at Ibrox and allow the public access. Even if they made it 3x30 minute game with rolling subs as to not tire our players too much.

  6. This is the reason I think why green left it do late to apply for SFA membership. The membership is still currently assigned to the oldco and at present the oldco still exists. Therefore players in breach of contract with oldco.

What these players also forget is when Webster broke his contract he was given a lengthy ban. I think it was about 10 games.

Hopefully FIFA will take until Sept to make a ruling and therefore registrations will be delayed further due to transfer window being closed. That would mean they probably won't play for almost a season.

  7. Was listening be a bit of light relief on my day off and the song UVF Hero came on. I think the lyrics could be changed to a new song to celebrate the players that stayed. Here is the lyrics at present along with the song itself. What does everyone think??

    U.V.F Hero

A hero comes to our town tomorrow,

A men who's been sent to set us free,

He's wearing an Ulster badge it's true,

And carrying flags red white and blue,

And we will be waiting here and ready,

To lift up our arms at his command,

A UVF soldier bold and true,

An army of men to follow through.

And our flags will fly on high forever,

And our sons will sing our victory song,

Our voices will rise with one accord now,

For we have been silent far too long.

We'll march forward on the road together,

Our leader will help us to stand strong,

The hero will purge the rebel band,

And he will reclaim our glorios land,

And when we have got the rebels running,

    Surrendering to our mighty flag,

The red white and blue will fly on high,

And Ulster is free will be our cry.

nd our flags will fly on high forever,

And our sons will sing our victory song,

Our voices will rise with one accord now,

For we have been silent far too long.

nd our flags will fly on high forever,

And our sons will sing our victory song,

Our voices will rise with one accord now,

For we have been silent far too long.

For we have been silent far too long.

  8. The main reason we have not seen players reject transfer using TUPE is the clubs u have mentioned did not face uncertainty about which league they would be in. Leeds and Portsmouth although newco stayed in same league as oldco so nothing really changed. Another thing that SFA and SPL can get the blame for. Have a feeling that if by some miracle we get voted back into SPL, these players will want to transfer but with Thursday being there day to come back to training they can't risk it.

  9. Maybe someone will launch a proper takeover bid

    Someone like

    A lifelong fan from Singapore

Eh what about some businessmen with Rangers at heart. Like our white knight but maybe in blue

Eh what about a bid fronted by a legend

Eh what about a bid from a wealthy mhank supporter

    Eh...

    Got it

Robert Wiseman has sold his dairy business. He could buy us

    And milk us for everything

    :sherlock:

Well he is a rangers fan. Has a season ticket for the club deck.

  10. i agree, how the fuck can the membership of a governing body possibly define a club?

you think when Rangers & Celtic were making applications to join the English premiership 5 or so eyars ago they were thinking "well we need to be a completely new club in order for it to happen, but hey, the riches fo the premiership right..."?

Would it not also be correct to state that when a club is relegated they no longer have an SPL membership, and are then given an SFL one? What about Fiorentina, Leeds, Middlesborough who all changed company and needed re-registration?

The membership is the club. If we had moved to England the membership would have been transferred from SFA to the FA. The membership is the same thing as a players registration. If a player is not registered then he is not a player. So if Rangers do not have a membership to a football association they will cease to be a football club. That is why Mr Green has to apply to SFA to transfer membership to the new company and as I said earlier if this is successful then all good. However, if they don't transfer it the membership will stay with the old company and therefore be dissolved with that company.

  11. Rangers Wikipedia page back to how it was yesterday. Edited by andrewcrawford. Andrew is waiting for clarification on liquidation before updating page correctly. His point of view, and I see where he is coming from, is that if the SFA validate the transfer of membership from oldco to newco then the club will continue with all honours. If however, the SFA fail to transfer membership then the club would cease to exist and a new club with new membership would need to be formed. This is the clarification he is waiting for.

  12. Tried to go to work on the Wikipedia page this morning. However, many scum fans must think of themselves as the next Stephen King or Terry Pratchett. They are certainly living in a fantasy land. They believe that our great club has no badge, no nicknames, no honours or records. One of them even edited Ibrox and Murray Park as our former stadium and training facility. They are most certainly warped with there ideas. Funniest thing I noticed is that the new company name is The Rangers Football Club Limited 2012. Will leave for a while and try again as I don't do walking away.
