  1. A few title winning goals did it for me. The man's got his faults and has certainly not been brilliant all the time, but he's had patches of unbelievably crucial goals. Don't be a twat, people can decide who they like or dislike

His goal record for an SPL club is abysmal and at over £3m + wages he's as bad a signing as we've ever made. How much is he on per year? He wouldn't stand out for Dundee United. Burnley must have found our offer particularly amusing.

  2. If he was shrewd, he would have been on Whyte's case. He claimed to have no knowledge of what was going on inside Ibrox, then again, that's what they all trotted out, including McCoist. Too many of those who 'love Rangers' were happy enough to take their coin while the club was being shafted.

Casey as ever one of the few people worth listening to :praise:

  3. Overpaid? Perhaps but it looks like this guy has forgotten all the important goals Laffs scored for us.

A fucking cunt? Thats way out of order, no one knows what happened between Lafferty and Ally but I still love them both and for calling Lafferty a cunt, he can fuck right off.

You love Lafferty? Are you a half-wit or something? Is it his atrocious attitude or his 38 goals in 138 games you prefer?

  4. until we see the full deal we might be, for all we known the sensationalist media missed a part saying "if the club is trading at a loss in 2020 then the loan is waived"

Who knows and who cares, just lets get out of this administration first before etting the pitchforks and flaming torches out for Green

    Who knows and who cares?

    I've heard that before

  5. we were paying a million a year to Lloyds for the next 18 before Whyte came here, this new debt is the same as previous payouts except its a shorter term and we dont have the bi tax case over our arses

You mean the same debts we couldn't substain?

  6. The March the 1st thing fucks him.

I would have been prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt if the legislation was in place of the time of him clicking favourite.

If Regan had clicked favourite on a tweet that wished Lennon to be shot dead we all know he'd be (and quite rightly) sacked almost immediately regardless of his excuse. We would be hearing about anti Irishness every minute of the day till he left.

My big fear is that this story just disappears and gets forgotten about.

It's a fucking massive story. If he has no crime reference number to prove he was saving it for the cops then he has to go.

I think it's more likely this story will just be never considered mate!

  7. Rangers have been on the brink of possible liquidation for months, we should be thankful that our club will actually exist after the damage that has been done by certain individuals.

Whatever the outcome of the CVA, the next 3 or 4 years are going to be extremely tough for us and I'm not sure a lot of fans understand that.

A lot of fans won't be ready for this, judging by the OP, considering he's talking about players that would command several times the salary we will be able to offer.

On the other than though, given how quickly things can turn in the SPL, don't be surprised if we are title winners again before not to soon. Celtic have a shite team and an even worse manager and it takes very little to win the SPL.

Our main problem is how the hell we can ever become regular Champions league group stage competitors, the bare minimum we should be competing in, and basically what we need in order to become a successful and afluent football club.

  8. Some decent, consistent performances and a few crunching tackles for us and he would be popular.

Unless Green pulls several rabbits out of the hat then Black may well be the standard of player we'll be watching for a while.

But we have young players on our books who are already better?

  9. I still think he has more ability than people give him credit for. He bossed the Scottish Cup final without breaking a sweat and in the semi final Hearts were looking comfortable until he came off and that's when Celtic came back in to the game.

I honestly think he would quickly win a lot of our fans over in much the same way that Aluko did.

He has a horrendous disciplinary record, didn't get offered a new deal at Hearts and was recently painting and decorating just to stay afloat.

What's really up for discussion here?

We really are a club of major contrasts. On the one side we are linked with Rino Gattuso, twice champions league and world cup winner, and on the other...there's former Caley Thistle plodder Ian Black <cr>

  10. The bunting was hardly out for Aluko, his welcome from the fans (internet) was lukewarm at best, hostile at worst, he has turned out a right player, Black imo could do a job no problems, we are screaming out for a player like him.

Aluko is the exception to the rule in the long line of dire SPL players both sides of the old firm have signed.

Given his form at Aberdeen, Aluko's form here has been unbelievable. That said, sometimes you have to play with better to be better and Aluko did show against Bayern Munich that he had a great deal of potential. He basically tore them apart and it's quite incredible to think than a non OF team drew with Bayern Munich in Europe.
