To get back on subject, why are we signing these players for division3? seriously, it is division fucking 3 and we are going to be spending probably more wages on players than anyone else apart from them whilst the likes of east stirling are paying £10 a week to their players!! this really concerns me, why not pay just above 2nd div level get enough decent players to get us through the embargo pish, as well as getting promotion, and then using the money we have saved to really build a squad for the first and spl again! is ally worried about his abilities to train and work with lower standard of player against farmers and milkmen? will we never learn? or is this the tabloids equivilent of us signing someone from athletic madrid for div3 rather than spl/champs league

Even if he does end up at Cardiff or crystal palace hr will be in a better league than us, Christ if he ends up at Airdrie he would be in a better league than us!! I'm dreading this season

This is where the problem arises - if fines and Scottish cup suspension is too lenient and game suspension / expulsion too severe, a middle ground was required. This is where the transfer / registration embargo came into things, but it wasn't a registered sanction which made it illegal to apply. They may decide that the only option available to them, if the voluntary acceptance of the embargo is refused by Rangers, is full on suspension or expulsion from the game. We're between the rock and a hard place if the SFA (Regan) want's to stick to their, so called, principles.
This is what I was aiming at with my post, I also can't help but think if the embargo had been accepted then we would still be in the spl, I reckon the spl chairmen would have sucked up the abuse from their fans and sold it that a weakened gers is better than no gers, but now basically there is no need for them to worry about suspending us why not a one year suspension and then reconstruction of the leagues then inviting us back in 1 year out in their eyes would be better than 3! This isn't over by a long shot

Serious question, what if they had stuck to the rules and suspended our license or worse expelled us? Where would that leave us?

After the Craig whyte doc, and the lambasting of the bbc over it, it will be interesting to see where this is going is there an agenda against us? I'm not too sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see some ex players in the paper tomorrow new putting their side of the story over before anything comes out on tv, I did hear rumours from a bbc employee that what is in this is going to be very explosive and do nothing to put any conceived wrongs right, let's hope it is lies

He's a businessman and was worried about pocket change should really have the alarm bells ringing if trump doesn't see business sense in it what does green see?
Good publicity for trump in the Aberdeen area though,may get a few more locals onside by talking down the rangers would take this story with a pinch of salt
