    Telegraph putting a disgraceful spin on it by cherrypicking one twitter account

    to be fair to the tele, they do usually rip the back outta him after he called it a bitter and sectarian paper

    I dont know how he gets so much media coverage for this/ his poppy stance etc, and yet nothing over his twitter post with him wearing the lilly on his wigan track top. How that didnt make the news I dont know

    I must be one of the only people that think Tyson was overrated. Yes he could knock out a horse, but I don't understand why people think he is one of the greatest ever. He lost to better boxers in Lewis and Holyfield.

    Plus he was a bit of a knob!

    Think anybody that actually follows the sport agrees hes overrated.

    fuck the sky card. Not a bad scrap between froch and groves but to put it on PPV with the stacked card of big names fighting bums is ridiculous. Anybody seen jamie mcdonells opponent? Hilarious

    Now boxnation throughout the night is another story. Pacman against Rios, cant wait

    cant wait. greatest show on earth. always has been, always will be. Not backing anybody til after the dec 6th draw, because by all accounts draw very important due to heat/humidity etc never mind the quality of teams in your group.

    My fav was Italia 90 but maybe that was something to do with my age. Reckon Brazil gonna go down as one of the best ever.

    Messi, Aguerro and Hugain for a forward line is pretty scary. Maybe my favourites at the minute, but only just.

    I laugh when I read all theese threads about the loyalist singing recently, because when we come over in April everybody gonna hear some serious sectarian bigotry. especially the way our country is at the minute. Was at the darts a couple of weeks ago and even there everybody was singing the billy boys.

    I couldn't give a shite which national anthem we play either. I feel nothing toward the Queen. Nothing.

    Personally, I care about the national anthem and the queen, tho that my opinion, and that yours, so fair enough mate.

    Point Iam making is if and when we play at Ravenhill, our anthem should be played. Doesnt have to be the Queen, Danny Boy will do. Just an anthem recognising that the game is being played in Northern Ireland, like they do in Dublin by playing the soldier song before Irelands call.

    It not just about the anthems. untill recently alot of our players have continually been ignored. And far more so this new TV deal the IRFU have signed stinks.

    Sky has bought Autumn internationals, but IRFU says all Ireland games should be broadcast in their own country free of charge (the way England is with the FA cup/wimbledon/the open etc) although In Northern Ireland they will scramble the signals so we have to watch on sky. the way they do for the premier league. So they taking the moral high ground in ther own country but selling us out up north

    I support Ireland, but am starting to question the IRFU. as are alot of Northern Ireland Irish fans

    Its nothing to do with sectarianism by the way. Northern Irish catholics getting shit on just as much as us, just think sometimes the IRFU forget we exist

    I remember the very 1st prizefighter that big Rogie won. Hearn that night said the winner gets 32k, but this is the first ever prizefighter, he says the plan is to progress, and he begged the question- imagine the winner gets 32mill? he said Floyd Mayweather would want some of that action and that was the grand plan....

    Fast forward 5 years and the if anything the comp has got even worse. I think prizefighter has ran its course

    I thought England were a stick on for a Slam this year before a ball was kicked.

    Here's a question for the Irish Bears... Who do you support in this championship? I'm guessing its no Ireland!

    I support Ireland. Some dont, I do. Especially now we have so many Ulster players in the team.

    When Ravenhill gets done up next couple of years then its only a matter of time before Ireland play a game in Northern Ireland. Whatever national anthem they play when this happens will determine whether Id still support Ireland or not

    For great fights, ther isnt enough time in the day, but couple of my favs from last few years that could be argued were better than the ward-gatti trilogy

    Nowadays if you wanna watch some exciting fights, look out for anything involving Brian Vilorio, Brandon Rios, Amir Khan (I could go on all day)

    On domestic front, watch out for Matthews-Crolla2 next month. Promises to be epic, real scouse v manc affair
