I love the Union Bears and the Blue Order, what they do at Ibrox is uinbeliavable at times. But what I do not agree with is the sectarian chanting, not because I'm offended, but because it can lead our club into shit.
I have attended every home game this season bar last nights game due to work commitments therfore what happened last night is not something I can comment on. But what I will say is that we have over 20 songs that we can sing that glorify our clubs history versus songs that could cost a few of us a criminal record. I am not saying that is what caused last nights problems for the record.
If you want to sing these songs by all means feel free too, In your house, your car or with your friends, but don't bring them into Ibrox where they are illegal and will get Rangers Football Club into shit.

I don't think disagreeing about the contents of our song book and the punishments attached shows a lack of back bone.
I've played in a flute band, was a 2n1/2 man, walked in Belfast on the twelfth, sang pretty much every song weve sung and I don't agree with how things have turned out.
Just as it's your right to want to sing the songs without fear it is a fact that we can be punished for these songs.
As much as I love to belt the Billy Boys out and believe in freedom of speech, the well being of our club is more important to me than singing an objectional song.

I'm all for singing song that offend our enemies - its part of the 'wind-up'.
What I do not understand is the need of fans to bastardize perfectly good songs such as Follow-Follow by adding FTP which is an irrelevance. Not a new opinion BTW as I wrote a piece in this in 1999. Too many damn fine players who follow that faith have worn our colours with pride and brought honour to the shirt.
Amo, Porrini, Rino and Gabriel Amato to name a few all represented our club on and off the field with dignity and respect. Lets of course not forget "he's blue he's white he's a time but he's all-right" Neil McCann. The latter so impressed by the song we had trouble stopping him singing it one night in Hooters.
For those who think ftp has a place I ask you this "would you add that to your repertoire if sitting at a match beside any of the players mentioned?
