  1. Love the fact basically all our support know and sing this, cracking song :D

I'd love to know all the words but cant make them out. Can anyone help me, by the way I'm 66 and a wee bit deaf so hard for me to hear them. If anyone can write them down be greatful

  2. Do you remember the days Andy Cameron used to come to the centre circle and do his intros and things before the game. Sometimes good sometimes a bit cringeworthy. I thought one of the best was when we were playing scumdee united and he looked at the miserable away utd support and said something like, has the other bus broken down. I was telling this to a friend, a septic fan, who told me a better one. Apparently AC was invited to a septic/ nites of st columbus club to do a stand up spot. As it happened the club had been broken into a few days earlier. AC started his gig by saying he was sorry to hear the club had been broken into but he was really pleased to see they had caught the guy who had done it, as he was pointing to a large crucifix on the wall. Apparently his feet never touched the ground as he was papped out.

Don't know if this is true but does make a good story. Any other AC stories.

the story is partially true, the club was the London rd celtic club, I was there playing in the band. The true story is their new colour telly got knocked that morning. Two guys in white coats walked in and said they had been delivered the wrong one. The idiots even gave the guys a hand out to their van, - knocked, gone. At night we arrived to play and Andy was the cabaret that was booked (we had played with Andy on the same bill many times) He knew we were all bears and commented in the dressing room about their telly and we all had a giggle. Well we announced him and played him on, and we went to the bar to listen to his patter. After one particular joke he suddenly shot round and gave a look at this big crucifix on the wall and said "oh I see you got the cunt that stole your telly" Us at the bar werer howling with laughter and found out we were the only ones that werer laughing. They booed him off and we were told by the convener to get back on stage and play but we wernt happy as we were supposed to be on a break . So we played two songs and came off, went into the dressing room and there was Andy getting his money and the convener saying "don't come fuckin back" That story is true, and by the way, they got rid of the big crucifix after that.
  3. I think I know one of the main reasons behind us failing to reach this 100,000 petition signatures. A big majority of fans (including myself) have no idea how to go about this, owing to not being very good with computers. You'll probably find that the fans who have already signed are really good with computers, and blindly cannot see why everybody else hasn't got the same ability. I personally think this is a great idea, but haven't a clue how to go about signing this petition. Sadly there must be thousands like me, we are not all computer whizz kids

  4. Has anyone thought of playing Moshni at right back. He's a bombscare running up the park out of position all the time, - well he could do that all day at right back, - he's as fast as Foster if not faster, -can tackle better too. We seem to have central defence covered now with McGregor and Zaluikas and Gasparatto. Think he would be a revelation there

  5. Mo Johnstone went to an RC primary school, then a state secondary school. He loves his stepdad to bits, - who is a true blue bear, and Mo has been to Ibrox more times than he ever was at the piggery. When he signed for us he said to his stepdad, "da I never ever thought I would get the chance to play for the gers, don't let anyone kid you, he was over the moon to be able to play for us. I got that story from the horses mouth literally, - his stepdad Jimmy Johnstone( I know, same name) who I was introduced to at a wedding.

  6. It's a disability pass and it was a lot more than 80p they asked me for last year. As I can travel on the bus for free, I'd rather use that but I've noticed no one can tell me what the bus situation is. Hardly surprising as when I typed in Glasgow buses, I got STP, or something like that and I couldn't make head nor tale of it as it was all sorts of bus companies came up in that site and the 9 route was going nowhere near I know. Is Glasgow City buses no longer running buses???

as I've already quoted, I'm a bus driver. Your typing in the wrong thing in google. Type in firstgroup.com, - then select greater Glasgow, - then type in no 9 and you'll get all the timetables, and YES take it from me the no 9 DEFINITELY goes from buchanan bus sta (stance11) down renfield st - union st, - jamacia st over the bridge and out to ibrox, coming back right up hope st and into Renfrew st and bus sta NOT anywhere near blythswood square

  7. They don't have concessions for OAP's on the underground. Shocking !!

they DO have concessions on the underground, - 80p, and if you want to use the bus, no 9 goes down renfield st into union st from buchanan bus sta. Returns up hope st to buchanan I'm a bus driver, I know

  8. I remember when Mo Johnston signed, there was a Rangers supporter from the Drum who sat in front of us in the GR.He slagged off Johnston every time he touched the ball. That was untill Johnston scored against the mhanky mob at Ibrox he was dancing allover the place.Incidently Johnstons father is a bluenose i worked on a couple of contracts with him.

Its his stepfather thats the bluenose, mo loves him to bits, doesnt get on with his real father ( mhank), by the way, they're BOTH called Jimmy Johnstone, Was introduced to his stepdad at a wedding just after mo had signed and I asked him if he regretted joining us, he said "are you kidding? he loves it, he said to me - da, I never ever thought I'd be able to wear this jersey
