  1. You can judge a manager by how a team comes out in the 2nd half of a game when the are losing.

Rangers assaulted Stirling Albions goal for the first 15 minutes of the second half, clearly McCoist has NOT lost the dressing room and the players are willing to go the extra yard for him this was clear as soon as the 2nd half kicked off.

  2. Is "no bad" good enough for our club who demand excellence and success? After 9 in a row fans were demanding he be replaced by someone who could take us forward as a club. Rangers will always win in Scotland, that is a given, but that is not enough to satisfy our clubs ambitions which go beyond winning at home. Walter was sacked in the end, he even admitted it himself.

Sorry mate was being sarcastic with the "no bad" comment. 9 in a row is surely successful?

In the end true we were wanting to take the club to another level in Europe but I was just pointing we shouldn't jump on the "we need foreign coaches" bandwagon.

  3. So it would appear to lots of you that a draw with Berwick is the worst thing to happen this year. Or you might say the performance was "embarrasing", "brutal" etc Are you not just absolutely excited that you CAN STILL WATCH YOUR CLUB PLAY FOOTBALL?

We nearly died this summer. We are playing football and have a chance at Quad. That's enough for me. If you want to watch something "better" then go support a "Premier" team to get your glory fix.

We at Rangers and Rangers Loyal are Ready for one of, if not the hardest, season ever. That means battles away from Ibrox. Boring, sturgid performances where a 1-0 win in the last minute and back to Ibrox asap is a success. If this is not good enough for your support. Kindly give back your ST and fuck off. Rangers have shown we don't need anybody. We can survive by ourselves with the LOVE of our true, BORN supporters.

If all your doing is venting your frustrations. Fine. But do it in the pub, with your voice, while drinking. Not post idiotic statements you consider facts where they can be read, and re-read over and over.

Fuck me if you all knew how to prepare, train and produce a team in 1 month to play football it takes other clubs 10 years to perfect then why the fuck are you on an internet forum and not managing a professional club somewhere?

Trying to talk with you when you're like this is like talking to them smelly bastards. No sense and No matter.

    Agree

  4. what exactly does "adjust to the 3rd division" mean? the tactics of booting the ball up, the playing players out of position all of them are just basic mistakes and we are being outplayed by a bunch of part timers and the fact is we do have a team on the field we are supposed to move on and focus on the football it's not acceptable to just forget about the football we are a Football Club.

I'm not saying we should sack Ally or that the players aren't at fault aswell but we need an entirely new approach to football we need to start playing attractive football, we need to keep giving youth players a chance instead of shoehorning experienced players out of position just for the sake of it. As much as I love going to see Rangers every other week I also want to be entertained and passing, skillful football is the way to entertain and also to win and if we get a reputation of playing attractive football then more fans will come to watch us I know plenty of people who have stopped going over the last 4 or 5 years because the football on show was so boring. Just look at Swansea they have a similar budget to us when we were in the SPL yet they are streets ahead of where we were just due to their tactics and coaching we need to get a similar set up here. I would love McCoist to be the one to do that but at the moment he is stuck in the stone ages playing a style of football that is well past it's sell by date and far from effective. Charles Green should hire a new assistant coach preferably one who is foreign and understands the technical side of the game and can help to get the best our players. McCoist should be given to the end of the year and we should asses how he gets on if things don't improve then he can't continue as Rangers manager.

In 1991 when Walter Smith took over from Souness fans said he wasn't up to the job, being promoted from Assistant Manager to Manager wouldn't work? They were crying out for someone "foreign" being foreign doesn't make you a great manager. If I mind right Walter did no bad?

  5. Regarding on pitch matters, what has impressed you about Ally as a manager in his 15 months in charge?

Managing a team through administration process surely has to be taken into account? I think McCoist has done a respectable job in the last 15 months, I haven't been on the edge of my seat watching every game but we got results last season under his management.

  6. At the present moment who else would you rather have as manager? Apart for Walter Smith obviously.

Sure McCoists tactics at times has me scratching my head, or he can be blamed for fielding players out of position. But remember a few short weeks ago when we almost has no team to field?

I think Ally and his coaching staff need a little time to adjust to life in Division 3 as do every single one of the players. We will surely win this league and maybe have a few stumbles on the way.

    In Ally we MUST trust

  7. It all stems from the manager if he can't get the best out of them then he shouldn't be in the job.

Wrong, I wouldn't have any other manager at Rangers at the moment, other than Sir Walter of course. Todays performance was shocking, but it does not "stem" from McCoist. Lets judge him as a manager at the end of the season. We have the ability to win every single fixture in Division 3 but in reality it is not going to happen, every team we play will play like it's a cup final. It's going to be a tough year, tougher now than ever, even though were in Division 3.
