Nah not for me. Lots of sound bites, but the substance falls away a bit IMO.
Like others have said, Green didn't put money up, but that's not a big issue. He was involved with rescuing the club, which is a very commendable action, although somewhat diminished with the fact that it was done purely for the intention of making a killing.
The idea that the best way to make money out of the club is to make it profitable is correct. It is however not the best way to make money quickly. To make money quickly, you bleed the clubs funds by awarding large bonuses, contributing to the club making huge first year losses. We know that the club has lost money hand over fist this year, so taking these bonuses is obviously not helping making the club profitable.
The idea that a debate on live tv will ensure transparency is not right either. It would just show who is the most talented rabble rouser. The debate would turn into a circus show from both sides trying to score cheap points and vilify the others.
I also don't buy this idea that parties interested in getting control of Rangers should pay twice the going rate to by a share in the club. Are we not wanting folk in who are careful with money? If they can get control of the club by winning over the shareholders, why should they pay £14m? That would be £14m that could be put to better use.
Couldnt have said it any better....Writter clearly has an agenda against the anti-Green camp

Muir ran the debt reduction show.
Muir certainly enforced it & put an end to further expenses but I do believe the board at the time were the ones who went about the reduction.
It was not financial wizardry that achieved it, just good management & governance, which people like AJ & PM brought to the table
-
But at the same time he managed to reduce debt
He played an active role in the reduction, not all on his own, he advised on the matter & we managed to vastly reduce the debt over last few years before Whyte
At the same time smith was moaning they couldn't buy players because the bank was running the club
Its fair to say that the bank/ Muir were running the club to a degree & there was no money because the bank wanted it back as much as possible, doesnt necessarily mean that they are the ones who reduced the outstanding all on their own.
Im not trying to paint the guy as this Legend/ myth, just someone who would do a better job than the spivs we have now

you think AJ and King would be good for our club, i wouldnt trust any of them including all TBK
most of them stood by and watched Murray ruin our club , i dont want to see any of them back at my club
You genuinely believe that Murray gave any of these guys a say in the matter or even what was fully transpiring? AJ only became a player on the scene when things has already gone tit-up & King has probably lost more money than anyone else in the liquidation of the Old Co...Murray put more in but i believe he also managed to take quite a bit back through various contracts.
As for TBK/ PM he played a very active role in the LBG debt reduction & his/ Blin's knowledge of Corporate Governance is exactly what we need
All are very successful in their line of work & are very business savy

How do we know you are a Rangers fan? How do we know anyone is what they appear? I didn't guess my post about them.
I have plenty of people who can vouch for what team I follow, as Im sure you will do yourself. As large as our support is I am yet to hear/ read anything from someone confirming anything of the sort about these guys with any real conviction
-
With all the uncertainty at the club why would they not release a statement after scooping up 2mill in shares
A wee bit of comfort for the fans, not much to ask considering 35 thousand bought season tickets.
Leaving the 35 thousand to figure out a guessing game AFTER they invested in the club again is shocking
Its definitely a strange one, you would have thought they would have came out with something by now....Maybe Toxic Jack is preparing something as we speak

like who? name all the dyed in wool guys who havent shit on our nest.
i cant think of any
Well AJ & King to name a few, please enlighten me to which dye in the wool guys have shit in our nest?
-
Yes they are Rangers fans..
Well that settles it then, dye in the wool blue noses? or Whyte style? Im sure we'll find out soon enough when the EGM comes
-
Apparently it's their old man who is/was Rangers daft.
The same thing was said about Whyte & I hope to god that the only commonality, but putting in that amount of money when they arent exactly loaded/ Rangers daft leads me to believe that they are only in this for themselves.
Is that you PM out at the grosvenor house or meridian on "business"
I must admit I was kind of waiting on one of these …But lets face it what part of what I said is incorrect
-
Does anyone actually have definitive proof that these guys are actually blue noses? Lets face it they dont exactly come with a sterling reputation & probably limited business skills, compared to what is required to run a club like Rangers.
I'll have PM & Blin over these guys any day of the week, say what you like but they have a decent pedigree....and before anyone uses the PM was part of the old board that got us in this mess, please check the facts 1st, he played a large part in the reduction of the LBG debt & also warned us about Whyte. May not have put his money where his mouth is but he is definitely one of us.
I will stay on the cautious side with these guys until they do something other than follow Chuckles around everywhere

No he hasnt, he has bought shares from Ahmad, the money goes to IA not the club.
The reason McColl & his lot want the club on the cheap is that they dont want to line the pockets of Green et all & would rather put money in to the club...Cant say i blame them, i wouldnt say they are going about it the best possible way but at least they are giving it a go.
