Was just thinking there, Allan McGregor was with Rangers from 2001, and made his debut in 2002 in a cup game against Forfar.
An outstanding keeper, we were lucky to have such a guy between the sticks at our club. His save in the Uefa Cup run was one of the best I've seen. Up there with Goram's save from Van Hoojidonk.
Really hope we hold a testimonial match for him as he was on our books for 11 years. Would mean the world to him as he's a massive fan of Rangers and a legend in all of our eyes.
When could we expect to hold this? Would it be after he retires?

little story about my day at parkhead supporting the Hearts , celtic fans flying their irish tricolours and all other manner of flags , "BUT" as soon as a hearts fan waved the Union Flag it was mysteriously confiscated.and another 4 Union Flags ended the same way confiscated. On further questioning of 1 policeman we were told we were inciting the celtic fans because of the current dilemna of the flag situation in Ulster and the officer said the order came from the commander in charge of the game. Oh canny upset them poor TAIG IRA loving vermin . But if you happen to be British and proud well tough you have,nt got a hope in hell.· ···

It was still a fantastic crowd and Something to be proud of but to claim others weren't present because they are telling the truth is fucking retarded.

I think this affinity with the Jambos is a bit of a myth.
I had to stand amongst them at Mark Walters debut match and the hatred spilling out was unbelievable and not just directed at Walters.
They hated us then and they hate us now.
