  1. If the three bears stories are to be believed we will have felix magath as technical director and may i suggest a man out of work who would do a magnificent job at Ibrox....Nigel adkins, was prime mover in the southampton academy, not scared to play youngsters and would make a major impact here

  2. McCoist should have the balls to admit he is not up to the job and walk.......as for a replacement......an ex manager of ours has been out of work for a while but did a job in his last spell and would certainly get more out of the players currently at Ibrox.......Alex Mcleish, he would cost less than ally and improve the football on offer, while he keeps the hot seat ready and waitng for Nigel Adkins or Eddie Howe

  3. Im really sorry guys, but WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS OBSESSION WITH EX PLAYERS, the only way we will progress is with someone with no fucking contact with the old regime, who can bring in a brand of football that ally will never be able to develop, and before some arsehole starts....this not another bash ally post.........this is a positive post and if anyone watched the ventura game as I did, they can only agree

  4. Guys, it is time for a reality check here. The main thing that needs to change is the coaching staff. Even a half decent coach could do wonders with the players we already have. Nicky Clark is a good example of what I mean. Last year scores 40+ goals, this year I will be amazed if he has scored more than 10. What made the difference??? At QoS, he had a half decent coach in Allan Johnston who played football on the deck, with pass and move and it played to Nickys strengths. At Rangers he is expected to live off the scraps if Jon Daly wins a header. A half decent coach would get the best out of Nicky Clark and I am sure several others who under Ally dont look like footballers. The days of the big money signings are long gone, BUT A GOOD COACH IS ESSENTIAL

  5. I know it is only the ramsdens cup, but win this and the championship next year and we will PROBABLY be the only team in the world to win every domestic trophy available in the country we play in. That makes it part of the HISTORY and TRADITION that we as fans fought so hard to keep when we were being shat on from a great height only 2 years ago.....so cmon the Gers and add to the 142 year history that we all love and cherish

  6. Saw this and thought cheeky bastards......really hope wee give them a right doing

Dundee United may as well have been handed a bye to the Scottish Cup Final.

Because, judging by last weekend’s performances, they might have to consider extending the scoreboards at Ibrox.

The semi-final tie between Rangers and United could well end up a cricket score.

For Liam’s full column, see tonight’s Evening Telegraph

  7. With the squad that Rangers have a trained chimp could get us back to the top league. The argument is not about how long it takes to get there, but the wasted opportunity dropping to division 3. We had a golden opportunity to redevelop the football philosophy, the football culture from the youngsters to the first team and we have missed a trick. My own thought on this is that Ally, legend or not, does not have the skills or the coaching knowledge to instill this desired change. He will get us back to the top league in the shortest possible time, but it will never be with consistent and good football, with quick 1 touch passes on the deck or with any footballing philosophy because Ally does not posses the ability.

  8. I have said it before in other Ally related topics on this forum and i will say it again, my choice of Rangers Manager would be Nigel Adkins. He did a superb job at Southampton. I have been living in Southampton for a few years and some of the best football I have seen was when I went to see the Saints during Adkins reign. Southampton sacked him after he got a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge and he is now doing a really good job at Reading. He has an eye for a player, brought through some magnificent youngsters and has his teams playing football with pace. Not a Rangers man I know, but I am sick of the idea that to do a job, you have to be a Rangers man first
