Should never become more than a player we bring on in the last 30 minutes against a side sitting in deep.

You should cancel your account here. Thats one of the daftest things Ive read on here

FFS .... the Scottish Press .....   .... Is there no one at Ibrox capable of vetting this type of thing and putting PC wise to them.

Hmmm! ...... I'm not sure that's the best interview he has done or will do in the future .... seems to me he is desperately wanting people to know more about him than we really need to know.

All this guff about "when I was in Mexico" and "when I was a student" does not fill me with any inspiration whatsoever ..... football wise ...... all it tells me is that he is not entirely confident in his own abilities if he continually has to talk about them ..... all this hearts and minds stuff? ..... sure change the players mentality, but just do it mate ... that will be enough.

I don't want to hear about his life experiences ..... I just simply want him to make things work on the park .... all this personal revelation into his psyche is actually of no relevance ..... this article reads like a Hello magazine .... "Expose of Pedro" ..... "What's really on Pedro's Mind?" ..... "Pedro reveals what he is really all about" ..... "Pedro tells us about his dark side"..... Ooooooh!

FFS what will it be next week ..... "Pedro reveals his secret recipe for Portuguese cuisine" ..... "Pedro let's us all into a little secret he uses in the kitchen .... how to boil an egg in two minutes rather than three" ...... :p:

Just get out onto the park and put the three points on the table and continue in that fashion .... that's what you are here for .... just do that for us and you will be a hero mate.

    :UK:

He's doing it to get buy in from the fans early on and also let the media know he won't be taking any of their shite either.

    Thought that was obvious!

All he would have to do is just say "ill get you after the game"

He should be concentrating on the game, I mind when we played Elgin I think it was and their players were out before the game taking photos etc and when their manager was on radio Clyde the next night and someone mentioned it he was furious.

It's just not professional,  same if he was sitting on his phone or something like that.  He should focus on the game because he's lacked focus for a while now

    We won 6-0.

A player engaged with the fans.

    Behave yourself

  4. Stupid thread. Stupid examples; mikilahenko fell asleep on the bench for us once! And as pointed out by someone, selfies not around then.

Totally pointless thread, just wanting moan and be negative for the sake of it.

For all you know, he may have make some young fans day and further cemented rangers in his heart forever.

Did great today aside from that bizarre tackle, pleased for him but still can't see it working long term

You've got a point, hat tricks will never be acceptable at ibrox

I have a real dislike for Garner at 1.8 million he offers absolutely fuck all . He is more interested grappling with defenders rather than looking for space or running into the box  .He doesn't  link up play and breaks down are attack with constantly looking for a free kick that is a sign of a player that lacks ability when you are trying to involve the ref all the time .

His ratio of shots to goals is terrible he is an absolute monumental fuck up as far as value for money goes  at 29  there is no likelihood of him improving he had a good record in the third tier of English football but in the championship 6 goals in 41 matches in his full season shows that his level is third tier football .

Are you thick? The transfer fee is nothing to do with him. He bursts a gut regardless of ability

They probably thanked him for winning them a trophy though.

Anyway I'm not going to keep debating this because I've made my feelings clear and that is despite his flaws, I think McLeish would be a significantly better option than Tommy Wright would be.

Already told you he's rejected it, it's not a debate

The experience I'm talking about is 22 years in management, 9 trophies in that time, experience managing in multiple countries and experience managing in the UEFA Cup, Champions League and internationally with Scotland.

We won't get the perfect candidate, nobody has a perfect record and you could highlight the bad over the good for basically every manager working today. For example, why did we take Smith back when he blew 10 in a row and did nothing of note with Everton?

When it comes to McLeish the pros far outweigh the cons, especially if the alternative is going to be Tommy Wright.

Smith done far better with Everton than mcleish done with villa, forest and genk. Birmingham also never thanked him for getting them relegated

You forget he won a treble,  more trophies in less time than O'Neill did at Celtic, took us to the last 16 of the CL and baw hair away from the QF's of the CL, gave us to of the best titles days of my life ( 6-1 Dunfermline and 1-0 Hibs )

Yes with good players which he mostly inherited (not the case this time). His football and signing were terrible, outwith boumsong and prso.

He has already knocked it back anyway. Was offered it until the end of season with no guarantees, however wanted a 2 and half year deal and nobody was for budging

No chance. I'd actually be furious if he ended up with the job.

Why are some people in the support so open to either Wright or McInnes getting the job but are so against the appointment of McLeish when McLeish has more experienced at a higher level and has won more than either of them ever will.

Mcleish still holds the embarrassing record of 11 games in a row without a win and 6 in a row against the bheasts without a win. Also managed to finish 3rd in a two horse race. Is that the experience you are talking about?

Dementia/ alzheimers is a pure bastard of a disease and I watched it reduce my father in law to a shell of a man before it took him. Sad to see  Billy McNeil the latest victim and is now unable to speak at 76 years old and has suffered with it for the last seven years. You have my full respect for the work you do to help these sufferers for I know a little of the stresses and patience involved in their care. Hopefully we're on our way to finding a cure for the disease but one thing they'll never find a cure for is Rangersitis, it's in our blood and I can vouch for it being in our kids blood.

It's currently getting well and truly embedded within my 4 year old too. Great wee guy and a good bluenose in the making
