Please yourself Jimenez, though you are very quick to judge and categorize. As for bitterness, you appear to have a lot. I dont. I agree with you about the booing, but as for a number of other things it seems we think diffferently.
I have less complications, my views are straightforward. They're different from yours. Politics and football can mix if you want them to, i just dont see the need mostly, thats all. That, though, doesnt justify the 'closet mhank' attitude you're throwing at me. We'll just agree to differ, peace brother, we're on the same side, at least in football.
If you prefer handwashing, fine by me. No offence meant on my part. Hopefully none taken on yours.

Don't want to put word in the mouths of the other posters but I think that when he said he was a republican he ment that he supported the abolishion of the monarchy, not that he was an Irish Republican.
That thought did cross my mind, but I've seen his posts elsewhere. He's here to stir, nothing else
And i'm not here to stir, actually. Republicanism is a perfectly understandable stance of any working class person. Monarchy, while harmless in modern day, is just unnecessary. Thats all. and I'm NOT here to stir.

British? Yes I am. GSTQ - my anthem? Probably is tho I hold no feelings for it. I¡m a republican.
The Union? I think its days are numbered and i'm fine with that.
But for me here, I support Rangers and all the rest of this guff has little to do with football and my beliefs and politics are NOT incompatible with supporting the Gers.

I agree. As for the cousins bit and bigotry bit I know it all ends up getting dragged into religious and histry debate that never ends. I dont care about all that stuff. Atheist, so i shouldnt. Outside of football i'd say Ireland in general is our cousins, after all the Scots came from Ireland and shared and still share a lot of common heritage. Music and folklore too. Football rivalry and dislke of bigots is fine by me but outside of that i have no problem with Ireland north or south. Or the Welsh for that matter. England -? Only thing that bugs me about them is that Jimmy Hill Maggie Thatcher type arrogance that they give you.
I quite like the Norwegians too. They've put a lot into Sctland too, long time ago.
As for the Tartan Army, they should just support Scotland. The divisions there are obviously just a reflection of divisions in scottish footbal. Maybe I'm wrong.
I certainly wouldn't boo any national anthem. Dont feel strongly enough about other countrys anthems.

Considering the class competition thers allwys been in Spanish national team, its deffo a hard job tring to make the top grade. Especially when playing abroad in what they probbly think of as a minor league.

Yeah, Wiki can be real inaccurete at times, but a real measure would have to be within a certain radius of the ground. That would bring a lotta clubs down. Who could have more than us that way?
RM, Barca, Bayern, Milan, inter, Juventus, a few Brazilian teams from massive cities and maybe the Buenos Aires big 2. That's put us in top 10 or 12 I think. Its hard to measuer these things.
