What the fucks the point in appointing Jig who’s got about 6 months experience of being a number two?
To help an u20 coach who’s clearly out his depth?
King needs to give the keys to somecunt else you’ve made a cunt of it too many times.
Some of the rumours on here are more plausible than the farce unfolding before our eyes....

Nope , our board could have went after Stevie Clarke rather than that fud McInnes who I don't rate and the fact we were paying £1m for him makes it all the sweater he knocked us back.
The board need to get their fucking finger out.
Did the board really go for McInnes or just make a bungled contrived approach to appease the fans ?

It's dead simples. There's no fucking money!
I doubt there will be anyone in January until we get others out.
And there is money at Kilmarnock ?

All this over a drunken rumour

Talking of which I found a bit of paper on Edmiston Dr on Wed night ...all it had on it was the word Strachan ?

Some Preston fans aren't half getting their knickers in a twist about this on Twitter
They're only on Twitter for the Rangers

Cooper was on the down by the time I saw him. If I'd been watching us a few years earlier then maybe.
I'd go Laudrup > Walters > McCann > Cooper > Huistra > Kanchelskis.
Probably forgetting someone obvious though.
Laudrup, Cooper, Walters for me ...but as a Rangers legend it would have to be Cooper ...Laudrup No1 as an all-round player don't think Laudrup hit a ball as cleanly as the Skol cup final goal..don't think Albertz did either...

Council schemes are the best x.
We all live on a proddy housing scheme...those were the days...

Whoever it is the whole situation is a farce ....our hopes rest on maybe appointing an assistant to a U20s manager who is allegedly in charge until the end of the season..
Strange this announcement on the eve of an OF game....stage managed again ...

Murty says that his new assistant might be in place in time.for.tomorrow but that at the moment that is out of his hands
Just ain't the way to conduct business....you do the deal then announce it.

Do you mean a deal in principle has been done under the radar?
This group of clowns wouldn't know what radar was...

It shows the lamentable state of proceedings when we have just appointed a manager well an U20s coach to be precise and the forums are full of possible replacements and doubts over his abilities. Now I don't blame Murty nor the fans.
We also have had a dubious statement from Allen which clearly shows he is unhappy..."I gave them a list of names within 2 days"
We also have had a clear slight of hand here where Murty's appointed was hastily announced to deflect from the TOP ruling...and we have a clear failure by the board to appoint the best possible candidate, which is their duty.
Come the Jan sales I want Robertson out and I want this incompetent board to find a manager of stature . I also want them to scour the world to look for a group of people to sell this club too. People with vision, competence and dignity. No asset strippers please.

Four at the back, a midfield diamond and lump the ball forward at every opportunity.
No wingers.
It’s horrendous if I’m being honest.
I am not sure why anyone is surprised you appoint U20s coach (young) and surprise surprise you get a U20s coach...I wonder what other rabbits in the hat that 4 eyed speccy cunt Robertson has up his sleeve ..apparently Alex Neil but only if he fails at Preston?

Because we're a basket case of a club and the demands placed on a manager (despite significantly less resources than bheasts) will lead to the sack for all but the best. And no matter what they are promised in terms of funds and support with King at the helm I wouldn't take anything for granted. They'll serve a purpose until they're disposable for his/ the Boards greater good.
Then there's the leaks, the internal power struggles, the dross to move out, the overhaul required.....
What's not to excite a manager eh?
To tell you the truth I think it was a half-hearted approach to appease the fans...
Highly talented managers manage shite international teams because of the money...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to raise the wage of a prospective good manager by subtracting a whack off the players budget...right up Harry Redknapps street I'd imagine...
-
Just maybe instead of having a team talk last night Murty read out this rumour...could perhaps explain the performance....chaos in the boardroom, chaos in the dugout, chaos on the park and chaos on the forum...

You're probably right. What I really want to know is, why did McInnes knock us back? A few years ago Scottish people NEVER said no to Rangers. Unless they were the Dylan McGeoch type.
You are forgetting Sir Alex and Jim McLean.

Don't believe a word of it....our board are too shambolic to have lined up a replacement...Sorry I don't believe one word of it
-
I'm sitting on the fence...the decision should have been made after the celtic game which the board said they were going to do ( ie Jan)
Then if things looked promising (and in terms of style, tactics they don't) he should have been appointed interim till season end...

Steve McLaren would have the best CV in Scotland for crying out loud. Folk turning their noses up at him are crazy, as if we can do better. We've ended up with an absolutely dreadful youth coach in our dug out.
Trouble is the position isn't just about picking a team, tactics and coaching ( supposedly Murty's strong points....it's much more multi-faceted than that...you are the face of the club, recruitment, link to board, primary PR face, influence over direction of the club, in charge discipline.....you are No1 employee
Not for the inexperienced or feint-hearted...Souness managed it but he was world-class player that was media savvy and played in the top league in the world.

Great point , It’s easy to play against us but not for us, the weight of expectation kills a lot of good players at Rangers.
And what about the weight of expectation of a brain surgeon operating on a child...no excuses not finishing second..jumping for balls and mistiming and air shots professional players...tbh the fans aren't even on their backs
-
No-one wants him to fail but I've said this before the board are duty bound to appoint the best possible candidate possible....
Bottom line last night was garbage as was Kilmarnock etc...this is not Murty's fault but I can't see him resolving it ...RFC can't appoint an experienced manager ...a fuckin joke .
-
Thought he was rubbish myself...failed to connect with the ball in the air time and time again
-
Slow, caught in possession far too many times missed some easy balls...rubbish like most of the team for 20k a week sorry but a scandal.
-
Last night was an embarrassment....no cohesion, no plan and a number of players who are over the hill, don't care or simply not good enough...all thrown into a tactical shambles. ...
Herrera on the park for 90 mins...when he made the effort to jump for the ball he missed...so if Murty is so astute why wasn't he subbed...???
New assistant in place for tomorrow?
