Position vs Position, if we were to face Celtic this is the hypothetical line ups matched up:
Gk Bell - Forster
RB Foster - Lustig
CB McCulloch - Van Dijk
CB Mohsni - Ambrose
LB Wallace - Mulgrew
RM Peralta - Forrest
CM Law - Brown
CM MacLeod - Ledley
LM Templeton - Commons
ST Daly - Samaras
ST Clark - Stokes
Obviously this is just a quick mock up, however looking at that I don't know if there is that much of a gulf in quality.
Wallace, Templeton, Daly, Law, Bell, McCulloch and Foster all have experience playing in the top flight (and bar Law are all cup winners).
Mohsni, MacLeod and Peralta have been impressive for us this season. Clark is still young so I'm hopeful of big things from him in the future.
Celtic have a few skilful players but Im not impressed with their defence, especially that Ambrose, he is a bombscare for them.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm sick of reiterating the same point to the ignorant people who refuse to accept that we are the same club as we've always been. The arseholes that come out with this new club bullshit do it just for a rise.
Everyone knows deep down that we are still the most successful club in the world.

We now need defenders, big time. A good RB and a CB should definitely be next on the list.

We need a few defenders in now, our defence is really lacking. Hopefully Goian and Cribari can be moved on as they are both bombscares, and Perry, Faure and Hegarty have been less than impressive. Would like to see Bocanegra stay and be paired up with a good young CB, I think Danny Wilson could fit the mould. Argyriou has been not too bad at RB but feel he would be better as a backup to someone like Hateley.
I think this line up would walk SFL2.

Was in the Hospitality section at Rangers vs Clyde I think it was. Anyway, Shiels loses the ball and Im like "Fuck sake Dean!".
Unbeknownst to me Kenny Shiels is sitting right in front of me, turns round and gives me the stare.

I think we as a support have been spoiled with success and now that we are going through the toughest period in our history and struggling a little (not all Ally's fault) we aren't adept to it and the first reaction is "get Ally out". Lets face it, we aren't the Rangers of old anymore, the majority of our team is young boys who have never been in a first team atmosphere. Not ideal.
Our main aim was to win the third division and we did that, would it be fair to sack him because he never won the fucking glorious Ramsdens Cup? Get real.
I think considering we have a bare bones squad that we had no time to assemble, and with all the shit that he has been dealt this year, McCoist has done not too bad. Certainly not brilliant, but he has met the remit.
I will judge Ally when he can manage Rangers in a season that we dont have boardroom/financial/embargo troubles. Hopefully that will be next year.
