Need to inject a bit of freshness in second half.
Take off Edu and put Davis back in the centre and bring on a sub.
The passing in our team can be so slack at times, Whittakers distribution has been poor and Edu as usual dwells too long in possession.
I have always had concerns about our ability to turn in fluent attacking performances because we are so drilled in the art of defensive tactics. Don't know who's on the bench today but I see this as an opportunity to bring on a hungry young player who can lift the crowd and inject some momentum into the side.
Disappointed with that first half showing, must do better.
Well said..far too often we are being outplayed by "weaker" teams. Get a couple of youngsters on and freshen things up a bit

two entirely different players..get flecky playing "in the hole" EVERY week and we will see what a good player he is

He set his team out the way Walter did..defend deep and in numbers.The big difference is when Inter break they are terrific..2 passes and they have split the opposition..a slow team ? nonsense..he has Maicon and Zanetti who can bomb down the flanks, Schneider,Eto, Balotelli and Milito who attack at pace. Our problem is that we defend in deep and don't have the players to break quickly enough

Usual Charlie Adam..great free kick then 90 minutes of raking 50 yard passes that found the opposition..hope he gets sold for £5 million though so that we get the sell-on money!
