Pedro will come good. I'll most definitely get slaughtered here but heres my honest opinion.

Firstly we are much stronger than we were last year. Theres no doubt about that. Yes weve had a couple of bad results the past few weeks. In those last 2 games I really dont beleive we have been as bad as made out on here. The hibs game was changed dramatically by a poor refereeing decision. After that i felr we dug in and tried to pick ourselves back up byt the game plan went out the window too early in the game. Today we completley dominated the game. From what i remember they have one chance that cracked the crossbar in the first half. As pedro said in his interview, we moved the ball too slowly and werent moving around to create spaces. Other than that we played well i thought. At least hes spitted what went wrong today. The main question is... will he address the issue and will we see an improvement? Next weekend we will see.

Moreles needs a player he can link up with. He holds the ball up well and looks strong but theres never any movemebt in front of him forcing him to play back.

I say cough up the money and get walker in. And also get in moult. Is he rangers standard? Im not sure but hes a proven goalscorer in this leaguè and we are desperate for that type of player.

Im sure pedro can take us forward. We need to be patient and thats no an easy thing at glasgow rangers.

Lets get behind the team and the manager!

Oh and please fuck off miller your done.

Pity we hadn't gone for Stevie May - think he could have had a great partnership with Morelos. We definitely have much better players than last season. I suppose hope makes you think that they'll gel right away but we've basically got a complete new team. Sadly we're not going to win the title this season but we'll get better and better and much stronger by the end of the season.

That has to be the most amateur article i've ever read, were they Trump/Kim parallels supposed to be funny

Sports journalism has to be the most doomed profession in Scotland.

Jesus Christ i've actually got a sore head reading that.

You can't have read any Britney articles then - how he has managed to build a career on decades of puerile crap beats me

No more Malcom Murray, David somers, Sandy Easdale, Derek Llambias, Charles Green or Mike Ashley.

No more one sided contracts form Sports Direct!

Money being invested into the squad and the stadium.

All thanks to the current board??.

Have a look at the squad diffence.

    A 1-0 defeat to a 2-0 win.

A lot has changed for the better.

What a difference 4 years make.

Only thing that remains the same..... our fans were fantastic in Sheffield as expected???

How on earth did that team only lose 1-0!!!!  Player wise we are definitely streets ahead this season and there are clear signs we are gelling as a team. Got to be more optimistic.

    C'mon the Gers.

Reading that it seems they won't be happy until a proper apology is offered and retraction.

Good work and these biased articles need challenged at every turn in order to get some parity and fairness when reporting on our club.

No longer open season on us, just got to keep it up.

We need much more than an apology. Certain people need to be put out the door at Pacific Quay. How on earth can someone with such a hateful and bigoted agenda as English be BBC Scotland's Chief Sports Reporter?

    Incredulous.

What Tom English has done here is staggering.  He's continually used the term "unlawful" and yes he did use the term "illegal" to imply criminality on Rangers behalf.

    Capture.thumb.PNG.c8a152d42fac8d5ded16bd89dac2a04c.PNG

When a QC and expert on these issues has tried to engage Tom in dialogue the response was to hide behind a dictionary definition.

    Capture.PNG.21b6dbfe656328182dc0cc33ca5abb1f.PNG

When he says "unlawful" he doesn't mean in an illegal sense, just that an act or behaviour is immoral.  Tom's position now is that he didn't say "illegal" he just heavily implied it.  He's not backing down at all and is trying to claim that his stance is a reasonable one.  I'm assuming Tom would also describe the actions of Dermot Desmond over in Panama as "Unlawful"?

Spot on - Tom English and his ilk are simply hypocritical bigots. Corporate tax dodging is immoral and should be stamped out. However, (No Sir) David Murray was Highland League level compared with Champions League level tax avoider (and probably worse) Dermot Desmond. Wonder when Desmnd will be called out for his dodginess - will be waiting forever.

To all the rhabids and fans of the haters out their that are moaning about today's decision ,I really hope your keep hurting,

You have listened to and manipulated a scenario for 6 years now and have a deep belief you were cheated ,when in fact our ebt scheme was legal throughout the years it was used AND the football authorities were fully aware of the amounts paid into the scheme and who benefited ,they didn't know how much though ,but at the time nobody cared ,your own clubs also knew we had the scheme and did not care

You have let yourself get caught up in a hate filled frenzy of jealousy and bigotry (not ideal for the strict practising Christians that you would love the world to believe you are),the basic facts of ebt have been so far distorted that you don't realise that our tax bill was reduced by a small amount, many of you will actually believe that no tax was paid at all ,you ignore that your own club and others during this period will have used tax reducing methods too, whether it be creative accountancy or a complex corporate structure ,or it some clubs instances, administration

    Spot on.

We could have won the champions league that year and possibly should have. We were massive players at that time were the biggest club in Britain. Fucking unreal how far scottish football has fallen.

You're dead right - we were the best team in the Champions League both that season and season 1999-2000 when Michael Mols career was destroyed by Kahn (almost on the half way line!!!!!!!!!).

The playing field is now as level as an Olympic ski jump - before the game my younger son was reeling off to me how much this Marseilles player and that player had cost/was worth. It's now impossible for us to win the Champions League and UEFA is doing it's best to try to make sure Scottish clubs don't even get a chance to even compete. I know yesterday was only a friendly but given the stage of development our team is at we showed we will be able to compete again on the European stage. Loads of work to be done but I reckon Pedro has made some very good signings - Alves is sheer class and , as I said above, lots of others look to have loads of potential. Loved wee Morelos and hope he gets shedloads of game time. I'm convinced, at long last, we're heading in the right direction.

Good post mate . Feel your passion in that

    Thanks mate.

Feeling a lot more hopeful as well as passionate after today's performance. Alves and Kranjcar real class, Cardosa and Candeias not far behind and Jack and Tav very solid. Also Morelos looked a real livewire. There's definitely a team in there if we can stay reasonably injury free.

  10. Like so many the last time I attended a Rangers - Marseilles game we were one goal short of getting through to the Champions League final and we lost out to some bona fide i.e. REAL cheats.

2 things have changed fundamentally since then

    1. Rupert Murdoch has cheapened football and now the main determinant of success is money and the main way to get that is if you're in one of the main European tv centres

    2. The cabal of Rangers hating supporters of lesser Scottish clubs (not even the clubs with the notable exception of Celtic, but the fans), consumed by jealousy, hate and bitterness, tried their utmost to make us into the next Third Lanark. They did not succeed but the wounds inflicted will take a very long time to recover from but eventually we'll get there and it will utterly sicken them

    We will follow on.

    C'mon the Pedro

Ahhh, I see. That's more like it. I do like a thorough post.

It means 'stand a little out of my sun'.  It's a phrase said to have been uttered by the cynic philosopher Diogenes of Sinope to Alexander the Great. Alexander greatly admired him, and when Alexander asked if there was anything he could do for him upon meeting him, Diogenes replied mockingly 'stand a little out of my sun'...Apò toû hēlíou metástēthi.

There're lots of interpretations of the exact meaning of this meeting, and I like them all. I also like lounging in the sun, so it seems appropriate.

Fair dos. I'll stand a little out of your sun great cynic

No idea what the OP is on about. Will need to explain.

    Fairly straightforward comment.

    1. Big Brenda is feted by the media as all round good guy and has been advocating that everybody should be pals though this is only on the basis that the current situation continues i.e. Celtic streets ahead in terms of  financial and player resources and go unchallenged in the boardrooms of the SPeeL and the SFA.

    2. One of Big Brenda's star players is all round bar steward Leigh Griffiths. Said bar steward is well known for his hatred of Protestant teams and according to the mhedia has developed a 'ritual' (ritualised hate) of when his team have beaten any Protestant team (Rangers, Hearts and Linfield) he ties a disgusting rag to the goalpost in front of the opposing team's goalpost

    3. Big Brenda has an opportunity to call out this shameful behaviour. Big Brenda excuses this ritualised hate as 'exuberance'. So we have a new one for the Jhunglers - exuberant hate.

By the way - what does 'Apò toû hēlíou metástēthi' mean????????

  13. The mhedia's Golden Gal, full of the blarney, happy-go-lucky chapess and Spongebob Squarepants lookalike Brenda Rodgers has let her wee mask slip (again).

Describing reprobate Griffiths' predilection for scarf tying, she has come up with a new definition for hatred.

Apparently hatred = exuberance. That'll be as in Exuberant Hatred.

That's because they have hoards of unemployed supporters who can spend all day on social media pushing their agenda, I genuinely believe that. Working is what keeps me from being on here more often.

The most hate filled and unbalanced mainstream social media outlet I've come across is bizarrely the Scotsman web-site - traditionally an Edinburgh based and focussed paper (now rag). It's just one constant hate fest. Mind you there's probably only about a dozen of them on there but they keep their bile up 24/7 day after day after day. Sad bastards - but it still has a detrimental impact on us.

Throw enough shit and some will stick. I know its not our way or what we're good at but when every other supporter of every other club is only interested in throwing shit at us we have to throw it back no matter how lame some of it may seem. The most you fling the more will stick.

Sadly it is changed days. Social media and the power of Celtic and their supporters across the media has led to an unprecedented level and frequency of hate and bile being aimed at us.

The haters need to be called out for their total hypocrisy again and again and again.

Does he have to pass a fit and proper test as a non-executive director?

I'm not that clued about the business side of things but could be another avenue worth exploring. Just done another bit of googling (lol) and it turns out his 35% share of the scum is held in a company called line nominees limited who operate out of Gibraltar, a well known tax haven. Fuck knows of they benefit in any way but I doubt it's been done line that for any other reason than to avoid tax.

Not sure about the non-exec situation. The fact remains he's bankrolling them - with well dhodgy lucre.  The usual blind eye turned by the Scottish media - they'd actually have to do a bit of work rather than lift all their 'stories' from the haters' web-sites.  Hopefully Club 1872 are working on this as part of their recent promise to fight fire with fire.
