    Intriguing argument

so, taking say from xmas to now -

FF have went from a peak of 220K to 150K right now, while we have went from approx 130K to 190K right now -

they have dropped 70K over the year while we have dropped what... 10K?

and thats proof we are struggling?  wouldnt it be the other way about given their figures are dropping and we are climbing?

how does FF have any bearing on our forum either struggling on not?

dont you find its a bit strange joining a forum then slagging it as "struggling"

Might be a bit misleading. Those figures indicate global ranking. The lower the number, the better. In the past few months, RM has dropped 77,000 places whilst FF has climbed 45,000.

And I honestly don't see how I've slagged the site off? Someone suggested putting the site behind a paywall, I said it'd be suicide for a site in the midst of a sharp decline (i.e. struggling). It's hardly a wild assumption.

I personally prefer here in any case.

No doubt this will be taken as some sort of personal attack, but whatever. Just pointing the facts out. Given how many ads they have on their monstrosity of a site, they must be raking it in as well.

    A struggling forum

One that raises thousands of pounds for good causes for Bears, gtf with that shite.

Fuck sake, really hit a few raw nerves here. No one even said anything about good causes.

Out of interest, do you still think those causes would get anywhere near the exposure if people were expected to pay to visit the forum? I certainly don't.

    It's a pish idea.

There are a number of suspect posts and posters here. I'm not saying people aren't allowed to think Kiernan is shit, of course they are, but the tone and nature of some posts rheeks to high heaven.

I know they are giving RM money by being here but I do wish this site charged a monthly/yearly fee.

Sounds like a brilliant way to completely kill an already struggling forum.

Aye Dembele is dross. Trying much?

Sorry mhate, didn't realise you were a fan. I forgot players who get passed up by every single club in the the English Premiership suddenly transform into £40m wonderkids after 6 months of playing in the SPFL without even managing to outscore Liam Boyce.

The boy's a haddy and will struggle to move for 8 digits. The media are doing their usual to help out Tarrier FC and it seems to be working.

Maybe he does have potential but he'll never know unless he leaves this league. Miller is a better all rounder at this point in time.

only 3 assists all season as well. Its a poor return. But yes, lets sign him even though he goal return ratio is poor, his assist ratio is poorer, but he is a good influence in the dressing room.

And goals are not the only measure of a football player - but you said he was "the best striker" - whats more important than goals or even assists to a striker?

The guy's playing in a garbage team and has been shunted into all sorts of positions. He's doing fine. You're not going to convince me that dross like Dembele or Boyce are any better than him.
