  1. Would much prefer Bayern in the final but definitely all for another 30 minutes of this.
  2. Just as Joselu comes on, one of my favourite stats this season. Stoke City have had players in 10 of the last 20 Champions League semi finals. 2004: Glen Johnson [Chelsea] 2005: Glen Johnson [Chelsea]; Ibrahim Afellay [PSV Eindhoven] 2007: Peter Crouch [Liverpool] 2008: Bojan [Barcelona]; Peter Crouch [Liverpool] 2009: Bojan [Barcelona] 2010: Bojan [Barcelona] 2011: Ibrahim Afellay [Barcelona] 2013: Xherdan Shaqiri [Bayern Munich] 2019: Xherdan Shaqiri [Liverpool] 2024: Joselu [Real Madrid]
  3. Yeah agreed. He's spent the time watching it, let him do what he wants.
  4. Only before watching VAR, he can't after watching the replay from memory.
  5. Gutted that Ally isn't on tonight. He better be doing the final.
  6. Who had money on one of Eric Dier or Jadon Sancho winning the CL this season?
  7. What are you talking about? The FA Cup final is in 3 weeks time. Your lack of knowledge continues to impress. If you keep needing to tell people your 'understand the game', you don't understand the game.
  8. Marco Reus's last ever game for Dortmund being at Wembley in the Champions League final is the stuff of dreams. What a way to go out if they win it.
  9. Yeah especially strikers. Who manages to sign the likes of Crespo, Shevchenko, Torres and Lukaku at their peak and make them all rubbish?
  10. Tbf - this season is probably the first in a while there could be 3 successful ones (Bellingham, Kane, Rice) but looking at the list below you could probably consider Felix, Fernandez, Coutinho, Griezmann, Caicedo, Lukaku, Dembele, Pogba, Hazard, Antony and Maguire all to have failed, at least so far. Grealish questionable given the money involved. Considering the huge sums you're spending, you would expect the hit rate to be much better than that.
  11. It's actually really hard to find many £80m+ signing in football that can be considered a success. The failure rate of them is unreal.
  12. You mean the West Ham point, which the actual West Ham fans on the forum agreed with? But yeah you're opinion must be the correct one, given the lack of knowledge you seem to have on English football, not people that watch and go to games. A 10 year old could tell you Man Utd, with by far the biggest fanbase, are the most talked and written about team in the country. To say no one mentions them is idiotic.
  13. They're shite but that's just not true They're still the most talked about team in the league by a mile.
  14. Agree with this all except from Fernandes. He's been the one consistent good thing in that team. 26 goals and assists in 45 games this season playing with that lot is damn good. He can be a moany bastard at times, but if it wasn't for him they wouldn't even be in the top 10, they would be fighting it out with Fulham and Palace for 14th.
  15. 7 of the starting 11 were signed by ETH at a cost of £325m, yet he'll still use the excuse that he hasn't been given the players.
  16. If the board think ETH can turn this around they're kidding themself. It's not just the results, it's his comments that show he's completely deluded. He said Utd are the most dynamic and entertaining team in the league last week and then yesterday said Mourinho is the only Utd manager who has got the players he wanted - after been given £450m to bring in the players he identified - of which every single one, bar Martinez, is on the pitch tonight.
  17. What? Lopetegui took Sevilla to 4th, 3 seasons in a row (They finished 12th and 13th after he left) while also winning the Europa League then took over Wolves when they were 20th in the league after 15 games and finished 13th (above West Ham). Not to mention being unbeaten with Spain. He's a far better manager than Moyes will ever be. Bayern and AC Milan were both trying to get him. You consider a team with the 7th biggest budget in the league finishing 14th and 10/11th an overachievement?
  18. You somehow managed to disagree with my point then used a point that backed it up. Outside of Rangers fans, many people questioned why Gio was sacked when he just made a Euro final, but the fans all wanted him out. It's the same scenario where people who never watch West Ham are questioning why they are getting rid of Moyes, when the fans are in complete agreement with it. The expectations of the club shouldn't be bottom half finishes when they are financed like a top 6/8 club, in the same way Rangers expectations should be winning the league, not coming a close 2nd.
