Defo was a display mate, might only have been only lower tier though.

Lower tier, there was a flag next to every seat already set up in our end and we got in well before kick off. Though after that display of hanging, shouldn't let them in early. If that  means they change it for our support too so be it.

  2. Can you really stand shoulder to shoulder with fans of other clubs? After all the shite we have had thrown at us from them all? And the boo's for our own players?

Tartan army can roll that Kilt up tight and stick it up their hole with the sporran hanging right out the back.

  3. What is the words of the song about kevin barry, lou macari, harry hood etc and what does the song mean?

Always here Rangers fans singing it in bars but don't understand it. Lol.

Ohhh fuck your Harry, your Lou Macari, your Kevin Barry, your Harry Hood!! Your Harry Hood!!!!

  4. City suffer Velicka blow

New signing sustains suspected ligament damage

    Velicka: Injury blow

Bristol City's new signing Andrius Velicka could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering suspected knee ligament damage.

The season-long loan arrival from Rangers was carried off in the 75th minute of the 1-0 win over QPR on Tuesday night just 11 minutes after being introduced from the bench.

Nicky Maynard grabbed a late winner for the Robins in their Championship clash, but boss Gary Johnson admitted he now fears he could be without Velicka for some time.

    Pretty serious

He said: "While we are delighted with the win and Nicky's fantastic late strike, our thoughts are with Andrius.

"It's a bad break for us but even worse for the lad himself.

"There was no contact involved when he went down, which is always a worry, and it looks pretty serious.

"I thought our first-half display was outstanding and just lacked the finishing touches to some great moves.

"In the end Nicky has come up with a special winning goal and we held on as Rangers threw everything at us during seven minutes of injury time."

    Fine line

Maynard's rocket shot from the edge of the box on 78 minutes followed his last-gasp winner against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

It left Rangers boss Jim Magilton disappointed, but far from down-hearted despite three Championship games without a win.

He said: "If we keep playing like that a victory will come and that's all we need to get us going.

"There is such a fine line between success and failure in this league and at the moment we aren't quite getting the breaks.

"The bad injury to their player actually came at a time when we were on top and the stoppage allowed them to draw breath and regroup.

"We had a great chance when we hit a post in the second half and that is the difference for us at the moment."

  5. good stuff (tu)

id like the board to sponser a player in the programme if it was possible

dunno how much £££ that costs

    Good idea also.

A bit pricey lads, from the last home programme:

    BENEFITS INCLUDE:

*opportunity to meet your player and recieve your signed, framed

    jersey in person

*Your logo in every home matchday programme

*Chance to support your favourite player throughout the season

*Prices start from £1250 incl. VAT (pro-rata)

Is sponsoring these events something RM should be doing for legends like Billy Simpson and Johnny Hubbard???

YES! It's a great step forward!

  6. I'm in CD4, row N right on the half way line. The view is brilliant (tu)

Not too much singing etc unless you're close to the CD Loyal - or it's a CL / Tims game.

can you see the screens when you are in row N mate?

Your near me this season aren't you? cd6 row n.

You can see the screen's no problem.

I was only a few rows back from you and I couldn't see the screens at all, still only missing pishy adverts really.

A few, your seat was right up the back was it not?

Is that how they are a bit cheaper up there then, does the roof block your view?

It takes four people just to lift the fucking thing when folded, it's about an inch thick!

  9. Anyone know the line up?

    At the bottom mate.

Two things came out of yesterday’s victory for Glentoran against a touring Rangers XI.

Firstly, on the basis of this game at least, the Glens’ kids are better than Rangers’ youngsters.

Secondly, the present incumbants of the first team jerseys at the Oval would need to watch their backs as there are some potential stars in this Glentoran squad who look more than capable of stepping into Carling Premiership action.

One of the few experienced players in the Glentoran line-up, Michael Halliday, gave the home side the lead before Jimmy Callacher doubled the advantage.

Teenage Israeli trialist Gil Blumstein pulled one back for the Gers but the east Belfast men were never in any real danger of losing their lead against a team which knocked six past Portadown on Thursday night.

The opener came after just 12 minutes and it was typical Halliday as the striker rose highest in the box to head home a Grant Gardiner corner.

Two minutes later Shane McCabe almost doubled the advantage with a dipping volley but the Glens found the net shortly after when another superb Gardiner delivery wreaked havoc in front of the Rangers’ goal and Callacher hooked home from six yards.

Glentoran had their lead halved on 29 minutes when Blumstein latched onto a Johnny Taylor stumble before firing past James Taylor in the home goal.

Things got worse for Johnny Taylor just a minute later when referee Brian Turkington called on the Glens bench to take the young defender off after an awful challenge on Alan Gow.

And before half time Stephen Lennon was taken off and put into an ambulance after another strong tackle.

There was precious little action after the break and the biggest cheer arrived with a standing ovation for Jason Hill who, though still on the transfer list, was back in the side — the reaction from the stands showing how the fans feel about that decision.

GLENTORAN: James Taylor, McGovern, Johnny Taylor, Harris, Hill, Hall, McCabe, Callacher, Gardiner, Halliday. Burrows. Subs: Morris, Nixon, Neill, Clarke, Fordyce, Hamilton, Waterworth, Buckley, Gardiner, Brannigan, McBurnie.

RANGERS: Weir, Lowing, Kinniburgh, McMillan, Wilson, Stirling, Loy, Gow, Fleck, Blumstein, Lennon. Subs: Ingles, Elmslie, Ness, Wylde, Perry, Bagci.

    Referee: Brian Turkington (Belfast)
