  1. I've had some friends pay a small fortune for large union jacks which they had to get custom made. Saw these ex-MOD Union flags and thought someone might be interested - the Largest is 18 foot! Also a good ulster flag in there, just scroll down and you'll see them. I am in no way connected with the sale or anything, just informing people as auction ends tomorrow and thought someone may like to know. Could save a bit of money. If ebay links are inappropriate or not allowed or this is in wrong section I apologize. http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZxsnick
  2. IMO being told 'Ok, from now on your not allowed to call yourself British, you have to be Scottish' is outrageous. Some fans see Rangers as a Scottish club others as a British club and some as both and I think we should let people chose which one and leave them be but this would not be the case in independence. Onyhoo I think this may be getting a bit too political and should maybe be on some other forum, not one about football.
  3. Its a hypothetical question but unfortunately it is a possibility if all the polls are to be believed.
  4. Everytime I have a Union Jack people ask 'why have you got that?' and I tell them coz I'm British and Gers is a British club - The Quintessentially British Club. What will I say if scotland gets independence?
  5. Aye - Fingers crossed we dont go down that road. I know some Celtic fans who would see independence as a victory over the gers.
  6. Just wondering....If Scotland becomes independant (I hope not), Can Rangers still be a British Club? Will we need to justify flying the Union Jack?
  7. I agree - the original is the best but this is meant as a compromise for those who dont like the Union Jack. I cant see any 'Scotsman' refusing to wave a tartan jack.
  8. First of all its my first post here. Second of all - I've heard alot of people complaining about the Union Jack being used as it is British and not Scottish. In my opinion I can be both but I know there are those that dont. Maybe those who dont like the Union Jack would like this flag ( I dont know if its been done before ) as it has a Scottish twist to it. I still think the original is the best. Let me know what you think as I spent ages on paint making it. Cheers
