    I think the OP is trying to make a point where there is none. I would love a return to the days when we could sing whatever we liked, and anyone else could do the same, without the opposition getting all precious about it. If Aberdeen want to sing about Durrant, repulsive though it is, let them. Let's out-sing them rather than out-grumble them. If Celtc want to sing about the IRA, let them. We can outsing them with The Billy Boys (including the fenian blood). This is my ideal scenario, anyone can sing what they want without this ridiculous culture of offense we have at the moment. I believe it started with them (at least as far as the OF are concerned), but we are heading to the same place they are in.

    So, given that that is my standpoint, I also am a realist. We simply cannot sing TBB anymore, at least in its current form, without fear of sanctions from UEFA. So, I certainly wouldn't sing it in its current form at a football ground for that reason only.

    I have no moral objection to "we hate Celtc, fenian bastards," but I'm not a fan of the song personally. To label fans hypocrites for only singing the songs we haven't been banned for singing is a bit strange, to be honest. Your argument only stands up if UEFA say we are allowed to sing TBB, but these "hypocrites" in our support say "no, that's offensive, but we'll carry on singing about fenian bastards."

    exactly,its the authorities and the arseholes that make these decisions who are the hypocrites,not us fans

    i have only missed inverness game away this season so far, i am in the CCS and fuckin right i think we should get priority for tickets!

    Do u think we tick that box to get forfar away and east fife away????????

    sorry but i dont see your point whatsoever,how the fuck are people who sing we are rangers super rangers,hypocrites? i dont consider it wrong and bad to sing TBB and i'm sure loads of other fans dont either,its just they've banned it thats why we dont sing it and why we sing the other one because thats not banned,simple!

    I think you will find that TBB is banned because of the term fenian.

    If you therefore don't sing it but sing another song that contains the same word that makes you a hypocrite in my book.

    Going by your logic, I presume that you will stop singing We are Rangers if it is banned?

    Do you stop doing all of the things that your mother/wife/boss tells you not to do?

    i know that,its stupid i know but its the authorities decision,and yes if it gets us in trouble/arrested

    and no of course not but that doesent get me arrested,like i said before,we will get points deductions etc

    and if we are rangers got banned i'm sure 99% of people would not sing it

    Which they dont because people who get a season ticket pay for all the games people without pick and choose and when its the big games they expect a ticket.

    I live in northern ireland and can not afford to travel all the time and i work shifts in work, so i cant make it for every match! Does this mean i shouldnt get a ticket????

    i dont think hes saying people without ST's arent as much of a bear than anyone else,but if they just give out tickets to the public and anyone who wants one then that would be unfair on season ticket holders, everyone knows the facts,public in general arent going to get a ticket,and most normal season ticket holders wont either

    For the life of me I don't see why you wouldn't tick the semi final/Final box on the ST form anyway.

    My dad got my ST for me last year and didn't. Needless to say I went mental. I still got going to both domestic finals though, didn't even get in the ballot for the UEFA Cup final. There should just be a ballot among all season ticket holders for cup finals, not CCCS priority, then a few for RSCs. Rangers only do it that way because it's easiest for them because they can just take money out of bank accounts.

    That's bollox.

    CCCS guarantees priority, that is the condition on which we take it up.....

    Why should it though? Every ST holder should have an equal chance of getting a cup final ticket, at the moment they don't

    because they ticket tick the box,its fair! like rangersgary said everyone has a fair chance at the start of the season

    Jimenez how easy would it be to move as I would be interested.

    Closer to renewal time we'll contact the club and ask about availability etc etc. Then it's a matter of you handing in a request for a move and we'll work with the club to get you sitting near us. Would it just be you making the move ?

    Are you in Scotland just now ?

    It would good if I could take you to a game this season, meet for a pint before hand and give you a wee feel for what it's like.

    can i ask a question where were the 42,000 ST holders on tuesday cause my eyes looked around a half empty stadium

    do ST holder who couldnt be arsed goin still get this preferance

    i was there,not wanting to cause any further arguments but it will only be those on the CCCS who will get tickets and mabye some season ticket holders who get one out the ballot,so most people at the final will have paid for the semi,although they didnt attend which is shite but Rangers only care about getting the money ;)

    i'd love to join one of the groups but is it not hard to get a season ticket exactly where you want it beside them?

    Don't think so mate, I think you just contact the group that you want to join and they do all the hard work for you.

    I might be wrong though.

    see thats what im saying ST holders are commiting.

    Ticketing ever week is not.

    What do these people do at the celtic home games

    i see what you mean mate,there needs to be rules like Manticore said,and ok some cannot afford a season ticket but if you were a season ticket holder and didnt get a ticket but someone else did that dosent have a season ticket would you not be pissed off at the system. Imo its only fair,if they pay for all games they should be entitled
