  1. I voted in favour of keeping both. We haven't seen enough of Kerkar but I like what I've seen. He's offered more creativity than Wylde so I like him more than Wylde. However, I agree with one of the other posters, who said that Wylde is only 20 and still has time to develop. I don't know that anyone else on the club has his pace, now if only he could improve his crosses.

  2. Kerkar should be given a chance to start at LW. He's shown some flair, he's been with the club for a good while and barely played. Since Wallace, doesn't appear to be a LW, and Wylde has speed but nothing else, Kerkar should be given a run of games. If he doesn't show anything then sell him or rip up his contract in the offseason.

  3. The fact you dont know who he is says more about your football knowledge than the players ability to be honest!

Young Boys have been challenging for the swiss super league the past 3-4 years and hes been a 1st team player for them for the most of that. He is 2nd choice RB for Switzerland behind Stephan Lichtsteiner (I take it you have heard of him) who is a very good player!

Cant believe anyone would say, ive not heard of him and if thats the best we can do then we are fucked...completely stupid...although i do agree we dont need a RB. Well we do because Whittaker cant defend for shit but we need other areas improved first!

I was at a Grasshoppers game a few years ago and wasn't that impressed with the ftba.

  4. No from me,you see what has happened to the team without Naisy and Davis leaving would be just as bad.The whole team are not performing so there is something going on,it is not that long ago Davis was rated on here as the best player in Scotland and there are very few in Scotland with his talent,I would build the team around him

I agree, he and the club have definitely missed Naismith! But there have been too many games over the last three seasons where we've said "Where's Davis?"

  5. Not sure how everyone is saying he's such a great player as he doesn't start week in and week out for his club (even if he has been ostracized by Houston). Not sure why he'd go to West Brom and sit on their bench week in and week out either (that said the young midfielders already at Ibrox don't get to play so maybe he wouldn't either!).

  6. I think we are going to see the left side made up of Papac and Wallace again...I just can't see McCoist changing the team so much from previous games.

There has to be an improvement against Motherwell at home...

The last few games Wallace has looked gassed by the middle of the match. I don't think he's fit enough to play midfield.

I too think Davis needs to be benched for a game.

  7. I'm just happy that different league formats are being talked about and explored. Things have to change and the possibility of Rangers v Ajax/Copenhagen/PSV/Anderlecht every other week as opposed to St Johnstone/St Mirren/Dunfermline etc would be exciting for us fans and in turn the tv companies, meaning more money for us. I agree with some of the concerns on here about travel but I'm just wondering how things like this work in America. Do fans travel to away games in MLS/NBA/NHL/NFL ?. Obviously the reason I ask is the travelling distances involved I imagine would be longer than the proposed Atlantic League, so does anyone know do fans travel to away games in America and if they do are there schemes to help out travelling fans ?

Yes, fans travel to away games in America. Some teams have fan groups that organize trips to away games. Busloads of Maple Leafs fans travel to Montreal (5 hours) for games but doubt there are 3-5000 fans travelling to away games.

  8. if jelavic gets injured then we are struggling in the striking dept with what we have got

While it would be nice to field a side that could win the Champions League, we should know that just isn't going to happen. How far did the 9IAR teams go in the Champions Leauge, bar the victory over Leeds United? Not very and everyone expects us to spend money to get great players to go on a long run in the Champions League?!! Unfortunately, that's not realistic until Rangers have been in the EPL for a few seasons.

So while I'd love the club to win the Champions League, I'll be realistic and happy with winning the SPL, which the lads'll do this season, although it'll be a hard fought victory. I agree it'll be extra tough if Jelavic or one of the cbs get injured, but I'm going to remain optimistic.

Looking forward to the Dundee United game! :)

  9. How u can say edu was one of the better players for rangers al never no for starters he was to blame for the first goal secondly he did fuck all before that or after that u need to wake up man n get real hes not fit to grace the rangers jersey, as for you point sayin alan hutton was a whipping boy when he was here thats utter shit cos hutton was imense for ranger every old firm game he marked the manky mobs danger man mcgeady out the game a think u need to stay of the smack big chapas

The lads I used to sit with at our club didn't rate Hutton his first full season. Thankfully, Hutton improved greatly.

  10. why should we though

have a look at some of the teams (both rangers and Parkhead Corinthians) that failed to make a dent on europe

    US

Amoruso, Gio, Albertz, Mols, Hendry, Kanchelskis etc et

    THEM

    Sutton, Hartson, Balde etc etc

All big transfer/big wage (or both) players that apart from one run to seville for they bastards failed to do heehaw in europe.

Now look at the 3 teams that made the last 16 all in succession

    US

Wattereus, Malcolm, Murray, Boyd, Novo, LOvenkrands, Burke

    THEM

    Macdonald, Caldwell, McManus, Naylor,

All low rate players that somehoe punched above their weight, big spending means nothing ion todays football, look at man city for an example,

remember that the 2 combined SPL top goalscorers cost a million quid between them, the dual combination centre half pairing for the beggars that went ot the last 16 twice was a hibs freebie and a youth player, and possibly the worst centre halves scotland have ever seen

and remember that we got the the uefa cup final by playing the likes of papac, broadfoot, weir, hemdani, novo, all players that cost next to nothing

Well said JimBeamJR! I was thinking the same thing.

  11. Did none of you watch the game in the cup at ibrox wen lafferty scored a hat-trick and jela scored tht awsum overhead kick but hutton was the best man on the park?? I wouldnt b on a boys back wen he is jst 19 or 20 and has played against man utd & came in a few game. Also walter was playing him in a 4-5-1 system asking him 2 defend. Personally see potential in the boy him & ness hav playd 2gethr 4 years hope they both hav big futures at rangers. I think edu (american soccer player not been brought up with sme game or mentality as us) & mcculloch (startd his career as a striker we playd him left mid cm & cb) both dnt hav natural abilty in the middle and either of ness or hutton wuld b far better as tht is their natural position. Always we play ppl out of position, davis, ortiz, weiss, lafferty, useless edu & jst as bad mcculloch hav all been played out of position

Well said. I liked what I saw of Hutton too. Does he, like Ness, have injury issues?

  12. Technically he is a good player, good touch, distribution and vision. But for me, he has always lacked that aggression, the 'give me the ball and I'll make something happen' attitude.

I agree his first touch is good but he doesn't shoot well (should've scored one early yesterday, and that's just one example of many). I have to agree with a few other posts that he's good box to box but that's it.

  13. Sign Murray Davidson and another central midfielder and punt Lee McCulloch (tu) (tu) (tu)

Muff you know Aly's not going to punt Lee.

I agree with the other posters, I'd rather Aly let Hutton or Ness play instead of signing Davidson.
