I really don't feel that confident at the moment but things could yet change. I expect Walter to continue to use the same system as last season, although I would be delighted to be proved wrong, and that system cries out for pace from midfield and the wide players. At present I cannot see where this is going to come from. I also feel that big Kirk, although I give him ten out of ten for effort, is simply not good enough. Overall I do not think our squad instills confidence. However, I do not regard selic as any great squad either. Will have to wait until I have seen at least a couple of matches before we have a real idea of how things will pan out.

No time for Bain but glad he is there. Better to be represented on this than not imo

Condescending crap from Ally and never mind a bit of dig. What we need if Walter is going to persist with last years tactics is speed to support our striker.
Talking of strikers, although I am not his greatest fan, what must Boyd think when reading that?

I think it is a shame that things have gone so badly for the Trust. When I first joined a couple of years back I never really expected miracles but thought that if a group could have Murray's ear and point out the fans grievances then it would be no bad thing.
If the RST were to be no more then I would deem it merely unfortunate but my real sympathies would go to the guys who set out with a vision and put so much work and effort into making it a success they must be really pissed off at the moment.

I simply do not understand how the club could do this when it was obvious from the beginning that we,the fans, did not want Miller anywhere near Ibrox.
A very sad day.

Please, please let this deal fall through.

Great to be on a forum where people are actually allowed an honest opinion of the RST without fear of being banned.

What the hell? That HAS to be a joke.
Our new jersey is almost EXACTLY the same as this! A fairly recent 3rd jersey.
Good or bad it is no doubt going to cost me when the younger member of the family see's it.
What I don't understand is I remember fans disliking the above as a 3rd shirt. 'Looks like a training top' they said.
And now you guys LIKE the same thing as the away jersey?
It makes no sense.
To be honest I don't think we have had a "stand out" top for years. I reckon a lot of the sales are down to people like me who think the tops are average but shell out for family who want almost anything with the crest on it.

Only really seen clips of him that were sent to me. Seemed a reasonable player and I must admit I would have liked to have seen him sign. Have to agree with a few posters who say that us going for quality players seems like the club trying to raise our expectations and spirits. The problem with this tactic is we get excited, then are let down when nothing materializes. We seem to have seen through this tactic though and I for one won't be celebrating any potential signings until they pull the shirt on.

We really need some quality added to the squad. It's OK having 2 for every position but , in all honesty, there is a distinct lack of quality.
One of the saddest things is the recurring injury to Smith. I really had high hopes for this lad but it doesn't sound too promising.

Aint buying anything until I see money spent on the pitch
Had a look at the pitch yesterday. Guy I was talking to told me we had cancelled some schoolboys games on it as it was cutting up pretty bad :angry2: Not very good for a relatively new pitch

Better than I expected to be honest. Pretty smart.

We don't have any alternatives really, so unless we bring someone in it looks like they may play most games.
