  1. guess we will just have to take each game at a time and wait on the decision, to be fair the SPL cant make any decisions at the minute cus the league isnt decided yet and we are in both cups, sooner we wrap up the league the better, it wud be a big advantage over fiorentina and potentially bayern if we can rest players before each game

  2. anyone who says they are glad that one of our players is injured cant honestly want whats best for rangers, whoever pulls on that shirt deserves to in walters eyes and his judgement is good enuf for me, fair enuf if hes not one of ur favourite players but hes at rangers and we sud be behind every player 100percent

  3. they are probably relying on us not to make the final of the uefa cup and then they can fit the two games in the week leading up to the last day of the season, or even play one of the games probably agasint st mirren, as it probably wont change any league standings no matter what the result is, after the last day of the season, the game against motherwell affects both us and their challenge for 3rd spot

  4. sorry if this has been discussed before but now that we are due to play st johnstone next sunday, in place of one of the games in hand away to motherwell i think it was penciled in, and the fact that we are in the semis of the uefa cup now, we have games every weekend and mid week up until wednesday the 14th may, with the final day of the season being on the 18th may, and a potential UEFA cup final and scottish cup final on the 14th may and 24th may, when the hell are we goin to play our two games in hand agsint motherwell and st mirren? has the SFA made any possible suggestions of a solution to this?

  5. ANDY GORAM SIGNS ON SHORT TERM CONTRACT

    1st April 2008

    Andy Goram

    Signs Autographs At Riverside

Institute manager John Gregg has made his first signing, but can thank former manager Liam Beckett for his connections.

Andy Goram, the former Rangers and Scottish International, has agreed to sign a short deal until the end of the season as cover for the injured Michael Doherty.

Michael chipped a bone in his shoulder during the Portadown game last week and will be out for the remainder of the season. Therefore John was keen to get a back up keeper signed and Liam Beckett contacted Andy on John's behalf.

Andy Goram, now 43 years old, is still involved with the game as he is a goalkeeping coach with Clyde.

The Riverside is somewhere Andy already knows well, as he was a member of the Rangers Legend squad that played at Drumahoe last summer.

As the former Rangers, Oldham Athletic A.F.C., Hibernian F.C and Manchester United star was not registered for any club at present 'Stute have been able to sign Andy outside the transfer window.

The former Scottish keeper will not train with 'Stute, but will only travel if required to play. Supporters are advised that Andy is only signed as back up keeper to Alan Ryan, but John felt it was important to have another keeper signed for the run in.

Institute FC would like to thank Clyde FC for agreeing to the short term deal. Andy will continue to coach during the week with Clyde.
