  1. I don't agree with the ban. If I was Ally, I would've still allowed them access, however, like Fergie did when he was at war with the BBC would send one of my underlings. Not Durrant, McDowell or even Jim Stewart.

I would consistently send Jimmy Bell (kitman and team bus driver) to respond to all post match interviews, with the intention of answering any question with the likes of "the kits were well soiled this week, took two washes to get them clean" and "the state of the road works on the A9".

At the pre-game briefings a simple "no comment" from Ally would suffice.

  2. Bolton Wanderers? :happy::sherlock:

OWEN COYLE has been sacked by Bolton Wanderers following the club's poor start to the season.

The Trotters, relegated from the Premier League in May, currently lie 18th in the Championship after claiming only three wins in their first 10 matches.

Chairman Phil Gartside said in a statement on the club's official website: "Owen poured his heart and soul into the job, both on and off the pitch, and he led our club with great dignity during some very challenging times."

But he added: "It is the right time for a change. We set a target at the beginning of the season and want to get back on track.

"I would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Owen, Sandy Stewart and Steve Davis for all their hard work during their time at Bolton Wanderers."

Coyle left Burnley in January 2010 to take up the hotseat at the Reebok Stadium on a two-and-a-half-year deal after Gary Megson was relieved of his duties.

He led the club to safety from 18th position, but failed to keep his side in the top flight last campaign.

Coyle, who played for Bolton between 1993-95, said: "I have always been driven to act in the best interests of the club and care passionately about it.

"I had fantastic times here as a player and it has been a privilege to have held the post of manager.

"I want to thank the fans for their backing since I returned, the chairman Phil Gartside and the owner Eddie Davies for their support and friendship and the club's staff and players for all their effort and commitment.

"I wish everyone connected with Bolton Wanderers all the very best."

Academy manager Jimmy Phillips and head of academy coaching and development Sammy Lee will take temporary charge of the first-team squad, with their first assignment a week on Saturday at home against Bristol City.

  3. Just noticed that Rangers Megastore has had a slight change in its overall appearance.

    £10 off

Free Scarf to the 1st 500 customers who order this seasons home top :P

Slight question was the UN-sponsored long sleeve top not a limited run?

    Rangers Megastore

On another note - I think it is time to get rid of JJB, i can understand that the deal generates good money for us.

But their lack of promotion and stock for our products is shocking, they have not helped us.

The unsponsored top is a limited run. You'll see from the website they only have XL sizes + left.

Am gutted as I'd walk over broken glass to get my hands on one of those tops in a medium, but I don't believe they are re-stocking.

  4. I have heard conflicting opinions of Jardine as a person but you can't fail to see that he seems to be one of the minority of ex players who has really nailed his colours to the mast in these testing times and I hope this is recognised.

Did he get himself removed from the SFA Hall of Fame or did he just threaten to do so?

  5. I read the first few lines....

Rangers players have taken 75% wage cuts, he isnt sure that he would have done the same himself.

No John, you wouldnt, because we are Rangers, and no other football club has the dignity and respect that our club has. This is the most amazing gesture ever to be made from a team of players, and I know for sure this will never ever be witnessed again.

Suppose thats what being a Bluenose involves, always being increadibly proud of your team :)

The other reasons John wouldn't are that he wouldn't be able to repay his gambling debts and have enough cash to fun another hair transplant....

  6. I am not too despondent about this.

Think it's better to have a fresh regime inside Ibrox with new ideas rather than a continuation of jobs for the boys. Wouldn't be surprised if Whyte has taken a few months to work out exactly what peoples job description is in Ibrox and how they earn their money and has acted accordingly.

Would be interested in finding out who is still there from the old regime, wonder if Sandy Jardine will be next?

  7. Excellent move by the club.

I think we should also be looking in Asia. The players there are technically a lot better than they were say, 10 years ago. Did we not have some tie up with a team called Shenzhen a few years back?

In times like these when Champions League football is not guaranteed, we should definitely be trying to exploit what revenue streams we can.

  8. The training range looks great IMO.

    Like the "after match t-shirt".

Was looking for the training shirt, which from memory is similar colours to the sweatshirt, but it is not on there. My 5s team plays in red and was looking to purchase it.

If they had designed the new away strip to look like the sweatshirt they would've been on to an absolute winner. Gold stars
