  1. No he didn't.

he played his last 2 seasons at left back i know that much, and he played left back during the world cup for usa, what he done after i dont know to be honest.

im not saying he isnt a cb, but at the time of us signin id say he played more left back than center back for his past clubs and at international level

  2. Really? Didn't know that.

    Lets take last weeks team,

    01 McGregor

    02 Goian

    05 Papac

    12 Wallace

    18 Bocanegra

    22 Bartley

    07 Edu

    10 Fleck

    19 Aluko

    09 Jelavic

    15 Healy

Wallace played LM, give you that. But the rest seem to be in positions they have played for in their previous clubs. But obviously its us that never play people in their correct postion, obviously.

papac wasnt a left back at previous club tho was he? bocanegra played most his career left or right back, bartley wasnt a midfielder, fleck a striker or out wide generally and as you said wallace was a left back before us

even at that you know what the guy meant, we always have 1 or 2 a season where we just dont play in their correct position...lafferty for a long time out wide many many more over the years

  3. The thing about Edu is, he'll dominate the midfield one week, looking composed with accurate passing and good tackling only for him to turn up the next week looking a completely different player.

On his day, he's the best midfielder in the league.

clearly hes never been at his best at any point in his rangers career, because hes never been close to looking like the best midfielder in the league

  4. Would be happy enough for Papac to go, he's had a good run but Wallace should be the future of left back.

Aluko is certainly a skillfull player and it would be good to keep him, although if Naismith comes back strong next season maybe he'll struggle to start?

true, though whos to say they cant play in the same team

  5. Didn't want to sound like a dick, but gad someone said it. Amazing player no doubt, especially when you consider he isn't even a left back, but I think there are names much more deserving to be on the list than Abidal.

Also, bit surprised to see Unai Emery not being there. He's been amazing at Valencia. More so than Wenger. He had a legit chance to win the quad and totally fucked it up winning nothing.

but dont you think its an outstanding achievement worth recognition? far better achievement than scoring 40 goals imo

  6. Anybody think this could be a good partnership and one that gets the best out of both players? Providing Jelavic stays.

Today they linked up well and I know for a fact that Jelavic wants Healy as his strike partner.

id prefer jelavic with aluko behind him tbh

  7. I've been moaning at Jelavic non stop recently but even I wouldn't give him a 5. Thought he played better today, sloppy at times but his link up play was much improved and got his goal.

aye its fair enough moaning about him when he plays below par, but he played well and played a part in 3 of the goals with cracking link up is bizarre, where as healy was average at best and wasted too many oppertunitys for me

  8. McGregor - 7

    Bartley - 6

    Goian - 6

    Bocanegra - 6

    Papac - 7

    Aluko - 9

    Edu - 8

    Fleck - 7

    Wallace - 6

    Jelavic - 5

    Healy - 6

    Kerkar - 6

    Wylde - 4

    McMillan - 4

a 5 for jelavic? i know theres a big grudge against the guy for fuck all but thats a bit petty..thought he was good today as was aluko and fleck

  9. why don't u go have a wee play with the others who are always bringing up something, not only this thread but near every comment in threads started by others, we get some don't like ally and some just don't like rangers at all but these constant wee shoddy attacks on our own club and manager is nothing short of tiagish behaviour.

For the record I think your a taig

but do you disagree with it? for weeks or months we have been hoffing the ball towards jela and whoever is up with him, take the old firm game for example, its clearly the way we are set out to play or we would be TRYING atleast to play it on the deck and we werent till lafferty went off

we will lose the league playing that way, lets hope its a kick up the arse we needed
