  1. i am happy that he is staying for the moment. however, am not going to say he's still going to be here come the end of january. i know they are different players but i remember alan hutton rejected spurs when they first came in for him and by the end of the month he had signed with them. i dont see this being the end of the miller transfer saga.

  2. What makes you say that?

I think he'll be back sooner than you think.

I know he's due back for the game against Hamilton. but it sometimes take players a while to get back to what they were before injury. its very rarely a player comes back from 4 months out and starts where they left off.

  3. I remember people asked that when Boyd left.

I remember people asked that when Prso left.

I remember people asked that when McCoist left.

There is a familiar pattern emerging here, I'll leave you to find it.

I understand where you are coming from but i cant see lafferty scoring 20 goals. Jelavic will take time to get to full fitness again.

  4. This is really starting to piss me off . All these fuds happy he's leaving for a measly 600 000 . There are no guarantees we will sign goodwillie , or any one else for that matter . We are taking a huge risk here , a risk that could possibly cost us 10 to 15 million in the long run , for the sake of 600 000 .

We can't afford to lose anybody from our tiny squad . And if millet does leave , and we are able to sign goodwillie , IMO we will have weakened the quality of our squad rather than strengthened .

Fucking raging with these lying bastards running my club !!!

I agree. This is a huge risk. We are weakening our team at a vital part of the season. And there is not guarantee of anyone coming in. How many times are we linked with players? and how many times do we get these players?

Worried about out title challenge now.

  5. Dont worry, Im pals with Kerkar on facebook and hes gonna speak to Boogie about gettin me a trial at Murray Park

    amazing.

goals will always come, the same thing was said about Boyd. Lafferty will now get a chance in his proper position to show what he can do.

  6. Gotta say i am gutted. We need to get someone in soon. I think he will be missed throughout the team. But i respect him in the sense that he could have done a boyd and said ive no made up my mind. but we are getting a fee for him and am guessing goodwillie wont be on anywhere near the same wages as miller so we will be saving money.

  7. It's all good saying yeah that's a decent price for Miller and Goodwillie has been lined up as the replacement. But he's been lined up, nothing has been agreed. Its been reported a bid as been rejected for Goodwillie already. It would just be like us to let Miller go and likely not get Goodwillie. I hope this is not true but.

Miller will be missed and I am gutted that he is going.

  8. I will be renewing mines no matter what.

It's rangers that I go to see play anyway. My uncle gave up his seat and he still regrets it. You could actually see how much he regrets it when we leave for big games.

No matter what I will renew my season ticket.

  9. I think i may have been one of the few that wanted miller back. The last two seasons he was seen as the man that supplied the ball to boyd. Wasnt given too much credit. When boyd left i was worried who would score our goals but miller took on the task and has shown he can be a goalscorer. miller along with naismith have been our most improved players this season. With Jelavic only a few weeks away from fitness it can only be a good thing for miller.

i hope he stays. and he deserves a new contract but he needs to accept we cant afford the sort of wages he maybe thinks we can.

  10. Dreading it. There is no denying the man is a legend as a player but it doesnt make you a good manager. And in effect we need a great manager. Someone of Walters stature. He relys too much on Smith even during the cup games when he is in charge. The players only seem to play when Smith comes down from the stand.

I think the club needs a fresh start at the end of the season. A new manager and give him the funds which can be made available. Build the team around Mcgregor, Davis, Jelavic and Miller.

  11. He'll get his chance at left midfield soon.

this is what happened with Lee McCulloch. Was a striker, moved to the left wing and now a sitting midfielder. The same thing will likely happen to Beattie. Which is a shame. He has potential to score goals in this league but i doubt he will be given his chance. With Jelavic coming back this further reduces his chances of getting a game.

  12. I was over confident also. Never felt like this before an old firm game. We should never take these games for granted.

Everyone on the park looked like they had never seen each other before. Ness was the only one making his old firm debut so out off all he maybe would have been the one making mistakes but in my own opinion he was our best player on the park. Am sure Weiss was maybe making his old firm debut also but he has been in the team all season. Ness is going to be a great player for us.

  13. Been on the site for ages just never posted before.

Anyway, walking up to the stadium did you not just get a feeling that it wasn't like any other old firm game? There was something different about the atmosphere. We were over confident.

I do believe we will come back stronger from this. Players are needing a reality check.
