  1. I think it'd be worth giving the lad a shot, worst that happens is he doesn't score. However, if he doesn't net a hat trick of overhead kicks from the halfway line, you can bet that a section of our support will call him shite and want him dropped.

In terms of Broadfoot, I completely agree, necessity for our team, and if Ally plays Bartley in that position when Broadfoot is fit, we just have to hope he isn't left with egg on his face. :craphead:

  2. Looks like he's gone already.

The OP was a bit of a strange sentence, I didn't get it, however I can see why people are assuming newbies to be tims after the weekend rubbish with the wind ups that were out of order.

I don't think we should accuse every newbie of being against us, though I wish everyone would stop posting new threads to say "this is my first post", we're usually welcoming and everything, but you can say that in your "first post" on another thread, rather than clogging up the forum with a load of pointless threads.

There really should be, as someone else has suggested before, a post limit for posting new threads. I don't think I made a new thread until I had posted about 400 times.

  3. Here the ORIGINAL 9 in a row top look at the quality on that beauty - that link you posted buddy JJB - jakeyjohn@thebarras sports

Loved that one, reminded me of the world class France side that wore it too, only difference were the laces and the badges.

And the fact that we had more quality in our team. :pipe:

  4. I love a bit of nostalgia.

I had a look at retro Gers tops online and it made me remember back to my parents buying me my first ever Rangers top as a kid, used to get both home and away, sometimes a goalie top every year throughout the year.

I still buy a top every year, but I can usually only afford one, like this year I bought the poppy one.

I was interested to see though, if people still buy and wear their Rangers tops every single year, and if people can remember their first Rangers kits.

    My first kit was:

    What was yours?

  5. In essence, they are fake in all honesty, they are not manufactured by the original company of design.

Simply put, they get away with it as they have permission (the only thing seperating them from shite in wee markets), and they can use the sponsor, as the sponsor sees it as free advertising.

Pile of pish in all honesty, I'd only get the latest kits unless I could get a perfect version of the ones produced years ago.

  6. Laffertys 2 weeks away from training n your talking bout a partnership with healy??

You just said it yourself, two weeks away from training

Who's to say he's gonna come back and be 100% fit and firing on all cylinders? Who's to say he'll be match fit soon after two weeks?

Like I said, even if we could have Laff and Healy up front, I'd love Cousin on the bench, but I think either Laff or Cousin would be able to strike a partnership with Healy.

  7. Better than nothing as many people have said. I would rather go into an old firm game with cousin up front on his own than Healy on his own anyway. No one has bullied the Celtic defence in recent years like cousin did. A front 3 of cousin with aluko and a fully fit mervan either side of him could be interesting

I'm foaming at the gub thinking about it.

  8. My favourite thread ever. Why don't we start a thread where members can post pictures of the mrs or female friends in RFC gear. Beats the shit out of all the tax doom and gloom threads. We could all do with cheering up.

Apologies to any ladies who are members on here. (aye right get yer photos up hen)

Completely agree with this, there should be a thread solely for girls in Rangers tops! :craphead:

  9. I really like Jamie Ness but I can't see him getting a game, as that's one of the few areas we're solid in with Edu and Davis, in terms of Ally's selection, I'd like to see him get the chance to break through though, but no point of rushing it.

Like others have said, Broadfoot coming back is good news, I'd hope he'd go into the right back area, but I doubt it.
