booked with flight options yesterday(monday 7th)for bucharest.told flight is from glasgow as i had asked was it glasgow or ggow prestwick. So did FO say that the flights would 100% be from Glasgow as this runway work has been postponed? If so, happy days - will save me major grief !!!

They are aware that there is maintenance planned during that week (11pm-5am i believe), but are trying to get the airport to delay the work by a week as they (the airport) will lose out on the football flights. Tims are also playing away at Hamburg on the Thursday, so its 2 lots of football business that the airport will be losing. Thomas Cook seemed pretty sure that it would be Prestwick that the flights would be leaving from & Flight Options were 'hopeful' that they would be going from Glasgow, so make of that what you will. If booking up, i'd certainly be having a contigency plan in case FO change to Prestwick.
