  1. the tax results from our over paying of wages for years.

The example being (figures fictitious) player earns 50k per week rangers paid 10k of that in sterling into a british bank account (money for aforementioned player to live of) and the remaining 40k to an overseas account/trust (savings that were paid tax free) therefor rangers and the player only paid tax on the 10k and f*all on the rest! meaning the player made more net cash than he would have if paid in british account only and rangers saved on tax.

H.M.R.C say this is unfair as he earned it here so should pay tax on it here and want to reclaim the tax paid on the aforementioned overseas payment.

This does not just implicate G.R.F.C it also may lead to H.M.R.C trying to persue players pais in this way for tax they also owe.

  2. Very interesting mate. Not that it means much tae me

I dont understand all this shite but i though CW and SDM had signed documents leaving this at CW and our door?

Craig Whyte refuses to speak about the deals he and SDM made regarding this matter therefor who knows if it left at their door his door or whoever wants to pay's door!

  3. surprise surprise, he's coming over to watch the game get the latest info and fuck off back to south africa to fight his own tax bill, why do papers make such a big deal of this? there is not a lot of persuasion King can put towards the future financial issues of Rangers other than to put more money into the club.

  4. Found this somewere else thought I'd repost,

    BLUENOSES ARE BORN, NOT MANUFACTURED

WE DO NOT CHOOSE, WE ARE CHOSEN

THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND, NEED NO EXPLANATION

THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND, DON'T MATTER.

Let me tell you the tale of a Sunday in May,

We were two points behind Celtic with one game to play.

The tims had been crowing “The title's in the bag,

We've won the league again, fly the flag, fly the flag. "

They would be taught a lesson they'll always remember,

Don't write off the Rangers, we never surrender.

We descended on Leith on the 22nd of May,

The waiting was over, it was judgment day.

With hope in our hearts and trannies in hand,

We packed ourselves into the Easter Road stand.

The ref blew the whistle, the action began,

A wave of excitement swept over the fans.

But half an hour in came the news we were dreading,

Sutton had scored, for 2nd place we were heading.

Soon half-time arrived and the score remained zero,

We looked to the heavens and prayed for a hero.

The teams re-emerged and the second half started,

Not one of our loyal fans had departed.

Then all of a sudden - a promising break,

Buffel to Novo who made no mistake.

1-0 to Rangers, we were off the mark,

Our attentions now turned to events at Fir Park.

Celtic were coasting as the minutes ticked by,

They sang Championees and the Fields of Athenry.

But you and I know there was a sting in the tail,

For theirs is a club which is destined to fail.

Enter Scott MacDonald with an overhead kick,

Douglas is nowhere and Timmy is sick.

Their fans were despondent and looked to the skies,

But there was no solace there for their tear-stained eyes.

For a helicopter was approaching the ground,

But it sure wasn't landing, it was turning around.

Over on the touchline, O'Neill lost the plot,

Astonishingly brilliant, I think ****ing not!

Soon word reached Leith and the Rangers fans roared,

The players on the pitch knew that Motherwell had scored.

They kept possession, we awaited more news,

Tension gripped all of the red, white & blues.

Then two minutes later - a heart-warming sound,

Another eruption at our end of the ground.

2-1 to Motherwell and it had to be him,

MacDonald again, not bad for a Tim.

The final whistle sounded and the copter arrived,

This time it was landing with the SPL prize.

Strangers hugged strangers up and down the land,

As the words KEEP BELIEVING appeared in the stand

The singing began - “Cheer up Marty,

Come over to our place, we're having a party. "

And over at Ibrox, though minutes had passed,

A sea of red, white & blue had amassed.

Hundreds of bears lined Edmiston Drive,

The team bus arrived and the place came alive.

The party continued well into the night,

A reward for a season of courage and fight.

And I urge fellow bears to take heed of this rhyme,

As we find ourselves now in more difficult times.

Protest if you must at the current regime,

But unite on a Saturday and get behind the team.

When you're finding it hard to muster belief,

Think back to the day when the sun shone on Leith.

Cos like the moon landings and JFK,

We'll always remember that Sunday in May.

The odds were against us but we won the race,

Let the others come after us, we welcome the chase

Don't know who the original author is or if it's been posted before but it sure brought a smile to my face.

  5. try this first,

I know the alt/f10 has been mentioned already but

    Remember to activate in Bios:

    - Activate the option D2D RECOVERY in the Main menu.

Then use ( ALT+F10) when starting up (switch on while pressing them)

this should work always does for me.

Other option does your acer have 1. a cd drive and 2. a recovery disk (some do some don't)

if so in bios set boot options to cd then drive put cd in drive and restart.

Let me know if this helps!

  6. This one grips me at a personal level as it's a personal favourite of my dads (one of the best songs he sing's on his way to ibrox the whole bus shuts up and listens) according to the history websites Iv'e looked at during Billy Simpson's career at ibrox (1950-1959) there was one old firm match that finished in 3-1 scoreline for Rangers but he wans't on the teamsheet (think he left during the summer of '59)

Anal time spent here on this one, the 3-1 rangers wins over Septic are as follows -

1893 Glasgow Cup no information found

17/2/1894 scottish cup final Mcready, Mcpherson, Barker

8/10/1910 Glasgow Cup Smith, Bennett, Reid

1911 Glasgow cup no information found

    21/10/1911 division 1 Bowie (2) Gordon

12/10/1912 Glasgow Cup Hogg, Smith, Bennett

1913 Glasgow Cup No information Found

    28/10/1922 division 1 Cunningham(2), Henderson

    11/09/1937 division 1 Venters (2), Thornton

5/9/1959 division 1 Wilson, Scott, Millar

25/08/1973 League cup section 1 Mcdonald, Parlane, Conn

10/08/1976 Glasgow cup Jardine, Jackson, Miller

7/1/1978 Premier division Smith, Grieg, Parlane

4/8/1979 Drybrough Cup Mcdonald, Jardine, Cooper

1/1/1992 premier division Mcoist, Hateley, Brown

30/10/1994 premier division Hately (2), Laudraup

1995 Glasgow Cup No information found

2/1/1997 Premier division Albertz, Bo Anderson (2)

    20/8/2005 S.P.L Prso, Buffel, Novo

    24/10/2011 S.P.L Miller (2) Loovens O.G

So this unfortunatley suggests that if it was a 3-1 ne'rday game it could only have happened in 1992 or 1997 and this song is far older than that.

N.B The glasgow cup information is sketchy and was taken from the glasgow cup finals history site.

Also this is not fully exhaustive there are probably one or two I've missed.

  7. Far to many people fear the worst from this, this case is along ay from being settled, correct me if im wrongthe £49 million tax liability case has barely started the court proccess this will take years to sort out with numerous deadlines and appeals to come from both parties.

Lets be honest not that it is much to do with the s.f.a or s.p.l boards but do you honestly see them letting Glasgow Rangers go down the tubes completly without a strong(ish) Rangers there is a poor Septic in turn a Very Very poor scottish top flight. One that becomes a laughing stock of a football nation losing their t.v and sponsor revenues in turn becoming a third rate leauge.

Not for one minute would this be allowed to happen.

  8. Thought as much. I've been called a 'handwringer' more times than I care to remember but no-one can tell me what it definitively means. Just seems to be a label thrown about by morons who either don't want to or are unable to think about things too much.

normally by those who question why we aint all bigots and want to support their every post or question the reason why some are written!! but of course if we do that were earl haigs in disguise aswell!

  9. Let's look at that one a little deeper.

Both teams were awarded a penalty that was then rescinded under a minute later.

In both matches, the team that had a penalty rescinded eventually won their match 2-1.

Linesmen were supposedly 'involved' in the overturning of both decisions but this turned out to be not the case.

One happened in a routine league match. The other happened in an Old Firm cup final.

One was dragged out for weeks, causing mayhem, resignations, strikes and delays to the SPL season. One was accepted instantly and life went on as normal.

Dignity shines through with us. Fucking inbreeding, tinker, gypo, thieving, illiterate, moronic delusions of grandeur with the others.

And the moral of the story is referee's in scotland are poor at the moment, they do not set out to hurt one team or another nor are they favoured to any team (beleive if you wish).

I honestly believe when the man in black crosses that line on a saturday OR sunday or whatever day it is he sets out to do his best sometimes that aint good enough but 99 times out of 100 it is honest mistakes.

Most rangers fans can see that and realise it may go against or for us but the manks believe its a conspiracey every single time.

I love being part of the establishment at least we can sleep easily :redcard:

  10. Deffinetly not for bears den, surprise surprise raised on the build up to old firm weekend, biggotry should not be tollerated on any side of the divide and unfortunatly as its that week again this will be brought up time after time, WE as rangers supporters are no whiter than them manks and I personally would love to see the day when this was purely about football rivalry.

That being said as its that week ageain get into the f***** b*******. Obviousley in the non sectarian from. LOL

  11. But will they want to though? This is bigger than a simple criminal offense, it involves the rivalry of two of the most bitterest of tribes. This will come down to whoever has the most friends in the highest of jobs and i dont think it will be us.

More unfortunatly probably who has the thickest brown paer bag as well as freinds!!

  12. How's about a team of mcgregor. Whittaker goian bocanegra Wallace. Naismith Davis edu McKay lafferty. Jelavic? 451 when we don't have ball 433 when we do? I honestly think 442 is old fashioned. None of the big teams play it. Even Barca. Best team ever play a central striker with midfield support. Fair enough. That midfield is xavi and iniesta, not mcculloch and edu but if u squint while watching them u could get them mixed up.... Maybe... A bit.... Nope am talking pish.

if u squint while watching them u could get them mixed up.... Maybe... A bit.... Nope am talking pish. :mutley:

  13. This cant be true - those in the know have told me he is refusing to play for Rangers or that we cant play him coz we aint payed for him LMAO

this also being the same as he creates unrest in the dressing room and on the training pitch PMSL, since when did he look like an unhappy selfish player? also if so much unrest why do the rest of the team celebrate with him? guess those in the know should go and take a ride to themselves!!!

  14. Very tight game.

1-0 to the Champions with a late penalty from Jelavic.

Each team will have a player sent off.

    There will be 7 bookings.

Ned Lennon will be sacked next Monday morning.

Could possibly see most of this happening, but very much doubt doubt the wee shit would be sacked they dont have the heart to do it.

hopefully a win of any sort for me 1-0 10-9 any way does it 3 points a must.

  15. Two words describes scotlands shame >LENNON & CELTIC< :chopometer:

badda bing du dum dum tshhh

that was a the drums playing bye the way but totaly true this freak has created himself as the shame of scottish football, i for one don't agree with what he has been through but he really is a twat and can see why people have done what they have.

  16. I,m going to be totally honest I couldnt care less anymore - its just geting daft

We respected Martin o Neil why because his talking was done on the pitch it hurt at the time but he managed to get celtic to a uefa cup final

and we were second best at that time when larrson and hartson were around.

Lennon will not get anywhere near martin o,neil and its nothing to do with threats etc and all the other excuses

Matrin o neil got the better of us and we accepted it and didnt resort to all the resentment and anger we accepted that guy was good

and our time would come again.

Celtic need to look at the profile of their club and the shambolic to be kind stature they seem happy to let loose having a novice player

not exactly a dalglish - mc grain type stature- type to get a grip a leopard cant change its spots .

Absolutely o'neil commanded respect amongst scottish football he respected other teams/managers and referees much the same but not as great as walter, think walter has went about his buisness well get to the end point and then shoot this ugly pizza faced wee cunt down for what he really is just a weasel who thinks shouting screeming and kicking his way to the top was going to help them, well Mr Lennon one thing has been proven to you as much help you could muster you still couldn't finish on top of the mighty rangers, As bill struth once say's we welcome the chase!!!

  17. I also heard something about Whyte paying for a new pitch at Ibrox, as well as upgrading the PA and the catering facilities. Can't remember exactly where I read this though....

hopefully mr white will continue on this, pitch aint to much of a problem but deffo the pa system catering facilities and the big screens need attention, there are other areas that could do with improvement but lets concentrate on the main one's especially the team!!
