The reason they scored was due to the ref giving them yet another dubious decision of a corner when one of the Malmo diddies shot over the bar. They then scored from the clearance from the dubious corner. Absolutely loved that ref tonight. He was almost capable of reffing a Sunday league match.

"I think we can take a lot of positives out of tonight. We showed that we can play almost the 90 minutes without making a substitution, that we are more than capable of holding any team with 9 men and it now means I can get back to business with Mr Whyte sourcing some decent players and putting in numerous derisory bids until we loase the player to a mediocre premiership team and the fans are sick of hearing the players name! All in all its been a good day!"
And naw...I am not bitter.
-
Wylde's pace would run them ragged for the last few mins. We need pace...they are tired and no subs left!
-
This game is screaming out for Wylde to come on to be a star!
-
Whittaker - Ball thrown at player - sent off
Malmo player - retaliates by having a kick out at McCulloch - nothing!
Referee - Totally biased and should be investigated. Absolutely ridiculous!
-
For me......just not impressed with how Whyte is dealing with transfers. We are slowly becoming a laughing stock. They have dragged their heels, especially just after the rape case was dropped. We should have been straight in with the bid if we rate him that highly. Its just poor, poor negotiation and for all the times I slated Bain, (*cant believe I am actually saying this*) I am sure Goodwillie would have been signed by now!
-
lol.....the rumours have started on Twitter that he is at Murray Park!!
-
whos the big number 19 hes a beast in the air and quick as well it seems.
I was going to say the same myself the other day when I watched that. He looks a real handfull upfront.
-
I feel sorry for Ally in all this. Yet again he has named another player in the press that will slip through his fingers due to inept transfer dealings by the club. Hope for his sake he has somebody lined up with the same goal return as Goodwillie as this might just be the transfer cockup out of all the current cockups that could have been the perfect partner for Jela.

McGregor - Good
Whittaker - Good (nearly bad)
Bougherra - Good
Goian - Good, he will do well for us.
Wallace - Good, really impressed with him.
Davis - Good
Edu - Good
McCulloch - Not so good.
Papac - Wing wizard.
Jelavic - OK something doesn't seem quite right, still a nuisance though.
Naismith - Quality.
-
i would like Ally to think about at least looking to bring in another CM as we sorely need more quality in there alongside Davis....surely Ally sees this!
-
Ifonly we take the next leap and play them on their right sides. Lol
Totally agree....get the wingers in there correct positions and move Davis into the middle and remove those two bungling numpties Edu and McCulloch. They were rank today....squad players at best!
-
ffs get Edu off before we lose one....he is awful!!!
-
I really feel for Jelavic....he works his a*se off and nobody to support him half the time. Get a striker in asap Ally!!
-
Edu through on goal.....one to beat!
-
after watching that it is clear that Wallace is a class act, big Goian looks the part, Papac is clearly like a fish out of water as he isnt bombing up that left wing and McCulloch and Edu are BARELY holding it together. We drastically need to relplace Edu and McCulloch and use these two as squad players. They are just so lightweight in midfield with no creative cutting edge. Wylde for Papac second half.......surely.....its so obvious!
-
just loving all the mind games from Houston saying that Goodwillie wants to play down south so that we get our finger out and pay the money.
-
I think we should look at getting this guy on a pay per play basis type contract. That way we cover our a*ses and he will try his best to stay fit (if hes still any good that is!).
-
Cannot wait for the positive spin thats about to come in the post match interview. We looked comfortable tonight, just didnt take our chances....blah, blah, blah
-
Goodnight Rangers!
-
i honestly cant believe what i am watching. this team won the league last year and finished the league on an high. this lot look like imposters tonight.
-
I spoke to a follower of the mhanky mob today in work and he is actually worried about this big guy. He said that he wished it was his mob that was signing him as he is beast of a defender who also bags a few goals too.
-
thinks it's wilsons goal that was ruled offside?
Didnt see Ally losing it when we had Jelavic's goal chopped off for supposedly being offside when it looked onside.
-
to be honest I have been wanting to make a similar point to this but not got round to it. I think the managment team dynamic isnt the same now. Ally looks soooo serious now and hardly cracks a smile as he is scared to in case he looks like he is not proessional enough. It worked really well when they had Walter as the main man, Ally as the coach and team moralebooster and Kenny to back Ally up. Just feel that Ally's hands on coaching and morale boosting role will now be lost.

that Mr Whyte might just start selling off players to recoup his loss of CL money. After all he has been squabbling over a couple of hundred thousand pound in the Goodillie chase. I think the next few weeks will be interesting and we will really see whether Murray was right to let Whyte have control of Rangers.
