Good debate this lads.. Davies certainly wouldn't be cheap. Its taken Forest 10+ years to get a decent manager. The last one we had was probably Mike.. no sorry Dave Bassett ;-) But with the circus that ensued at NFFC through the 98/99 season, we might as well have had Mike Bassett in charge!! Pierre Van Nobjocky, Selling all the best players and replacing them with loans, Darcheville (Who I was really pleased to watch play for the Gers and do a decent job!), Ron Atkinson........ So no, Nigel Doughty certainly wont be letting him go anywhere,, if he knows what's good for him!! On another note.. Got to laugh at the fickle east-enders eh?? They screamed and shouted to get Strachan out, Mowbray comes in.. gets them playing much better overall, identifies that their squad is full of Strachan bought shite,, and the fans get on HIS back, calling up that fud Ewen Cameron every night to spout their dilusional shite!

Hi all, Nottingham Forest fan here. I come in peace! Now's there's a certain rumour doing the rounds in certain quaters that Billy Davies, currently doing an incredible job on Trentside, is being lined up to manage Rangers FC. Its been muted that his recent missing of the Forest away game at Sheffield United was not so much having the flu.. as having an interview with the Rangers board! Can any of you wonderful blue-noses that might be in the preverbial 'know' shed any light on this? Fact? Fiction?... Billy is obviously a massive Rangers nut and would probably find it hard to turn down the Ibrox job... But every Forest fan would be GUTTED to lose him. Cheers!! Follow Follow..
