There's that ten minute Novo video on Youtube, with every goal he scored. This goal gives me goosebumps every single time. Watching him run off past the Rangers support is fantastic. Even Crocker's commentary.
7:33 in that. Love it.
Fantastic video! Novo scored some brilliant goals and some very critical goals! Was and always will be a true blue! He said no!!

I doubt CW would have imagined the backlash?
The again, a Rangers Man would have.
With all do respect to VB... I know where you're all coming from.. but for goodness sake. The Arsenal shares? That, to me, is unforgivable. Financial mismanagement... I can probably live with. But not selling our history.
Cheers,
Spot on ! Players come and go, managers come and go ! Some remain in our hearts, some don't but objects of our history like the arsenal shares should never leave!
-
Hope you have a good one! Wrtp!
-
I would honestly struggle to go to games if this happened. The clubs history and traditions should not be for sale at any price no matter how bad it gets.
With all thats going on just now and the way whyte has started to rip apart our hisrtory(selling the arsenal shares) you are 100 per cent correct! The shares have went whats next? well be left with nothing!
-
In my opinion this whole situation will make costly and I've a feeling that when we are out Of this mess he will one day lead us back to greatness!
-
Rangers history priceless ! For everything else, there's MasterCard!
Whyte should have never sold the shares in arsenal and starting to sell the clubs history is beyond a joke!
Horrible idea!
-
CW is ripping the history of this club apart! He claims to be a rangers fan but no real fan could do the things he's done to our club!
-
I'd rep you but on my phone! Is and always will be an honour to sit within those walls and watch the rangers!
-
He was, and still is, im my eyes, the best player ive seen play for us. He was my idol when growing up and every top i have ever bought has had the number 11 on it, in respect/tribute to the great man, irrespective of who is playing in the team at the time.
I did the same for a while because of albetz , there's something about that number!
-
The man makes me feel physical sick. To think of the proud tradition, dignity and the way of every proud ranger being ripped to pieces by this man is unthinkable! Not only is he not fit to run the club financially , he doesn't deserve the honour of doing so. Never a true ranger in my heart and never will be!

Best news I've herd in a while. Good luck big man. No surrender davie weir!
-
Feel like an idiot for trying to give whyte the benefit until I heard more. Feel totally cheated and disgusted !

Was that the guy wi the black hoddy and mega phone. Dont think he seen much of the game as always facing back. Has to be applauded for his efforts.
Nah that guy does that every home game! starts the song for the section(brilliant effort put in). The guy I'm talking about was in the end row towards the main stand and just spent the whole game screaming and cheering towards people in the enclosure to sing! was a hilarious sight!

I'm confused why you emphasise Ferguson playing for the jersey: this was the captain who went to the media under the End My Plight headline? As for getting the best out of those around him; erm not sure about that either. Barry Ferguson is nothing special to Rangers; to say he is is to betray the memories of other players who don't make a song and dance about being big Rangers men.
Maybe it's just my opinion mate? In my eyes he did well when the team needed someone to step up !
-
Most Rangers players, the vast majority with a few minor exceptions, play for the jersey. What makes you think Ferguson is any better than them; and if you don't think he then why mention it?
I just thought ferguson as a captain and a rangers player did well at getting the best out the player! A captain that handed it out to our players without hesitation!
Anyway why can't I mention it, the thread is about another player who played for the jersey can I not make a comparisent!
Furthermore I didn't say that others didn't play for the jersey !

if i was earning in a week what others got in a year, and these low wage people helped me get my massive weekly wage, then i would seriously consider it
remember that witghout all the low paid workers ibrox and indeed the club couldnt function
I understand where you are coming from but if it wasn't a football club then no one would offer a pay cut to save other members of staff!
In no way in saying this am I suggesting that these people don't mean anything. They really do! They are the reason out club runs on a daily basis.
The players even considering a cut or taking no wage is a fantastic gesture to the club and shows that I means as much to them
As it does to us!
-
not fantastic enough imo, he should be giving away 20k a week if it helps keep minimum wage cleaners etc in a job
surely shagger can afford to live on 5k a week for the next 12 weeks
If you were in a big paid Job would you give up all your wage if it saved others jobs ? I think not! The players considering a pay cut is a great gesture lets not forget that!

In my opinion of Nacho Novo was on the pitch yesterday we wouldn't have lost.
We know that technically and ability wise his is no better than a fair few of the players we had out but one thing he had was passion.
He understood what it meant to play for the club and play for the brilliant fans, he would take it upon himself to ensure the tempo of Rangers attack was of a high and constant manner, something i think we have severly lacked this year, which Ally has himself admitted.
Just like Barry ferguson! Wish he could have been on that pitch! Might not have been everyone's cup of tea but he played for the jersey every time .

Once again when the Copland sang the whole ground sang
UB are doing a great job though !
At one point the Copland started "4 men had a dream" but sand slower! Gave me goosebumps .
-
I'm all for folk singing and creating an atmosphere, but from my vantage point in the Main Stand I saw one guy in BF1 who seemed to spend the entire game looking over at the enclosure while acting like a cheerleader, I didn't see him watching the game much at all
Kept pointing this put to my pal! " right we man it's your job to get these lot going the day! " haaaa
-
Steve Davis had a poor game like alot of our players today but as our captain we need someone who will grab them by the scruff of the neck and tell them to pull their finger out and show some passion for the jersey and he is simply not the type of player or person to do this. Bocanegra would be a ideal choice as captain so I agree totally with previous posters.
It was a day that I'd have loved to have barry ferguson on the pitch! Might not have been
Everyone's favourite but he didnt scare away from
Giving the boys an ear full!

The football or just what it meant mate?
When the final whistle went and the lads in my section started singing " rangers till I die " I nearly bubbled up! Was a very emotional day , to end an emotional week.
EDIT: replied to wrong post haaaaa!

Hundreds of years from now, when a bible is all thats left buried beneath the earths dirty ground, found by a child playing with a sophisticated toy, she will pick up the book and know the stories told by the Islams of Allah, the Christians tell the stories of Jesus and then the child will tell to new world how another prophet walked among the people, a prophet who did not do walking way and his followers amassed from all around the world. The church was in Glasgow, a sacred place they called Ibrox stadium. This is where his followers would come to worship his disciples who entertained them for 90 minutes, in this togetherness around 50 thousand would sing songs, they would chant to their prophet and chant the name of any disciple who stood out from the others. The girl would then tell the others about the name, the name that would strike love, hope and courage in to any heart. The name was Ally McCoist and his religion was Glasgow Rangers FC!
have a rep! brilliant!

As an individual benefiting from the remarkable generosity of a sponsor, I'd like to emphatically support this message. Truly, unequivocally, definitively - we are the people!
Absolutely fantastic! These may be hard time but you hard tiimes sometimes bring out the best in people! We may be divided on individual opinion but we are truly as one in our support and love for the club! Hope you enjoy the game mate and to whoever sponsored your ticket in my eyes your a true gent and a definite rangers man!
