  1. mate fact is we have all spent a ton of money buying there games and there maps and this new game is still gona be the same graphics they used on mw1. so they are not using the money to make it any beter and now they want us to pay more again on more online features wtf no chance. the gd thing is tho alot of ppl will do wat im doing and not buy it and buy battlefield so maybe this will make them make it better in the future . if fifa 11 was the same as fifa 08 only with updated shirts we wouldn't buy it so you buy mw3

Graphics can only be pushed so far before it can't go any further, unlike a PC for instance, when you can buy a newer one every 6 months/a year to keep up to date with graphics.

  2. paying monthly for a game that still hasnt changed its engine since mw1 ? fuck that battlefield 3 all the way there new game engine brings 1st person shooters to a whole new leve

The CoD4 engine is the same as CoD2, which is the same as the first CoD's engine.

Activision Blizzard Inc. plans to launch an online service called Call of Duty Elite this fall that will work with the next major edition of the game, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," and future installments of the hyper-realistic combat-simulation game. In a move industry executives describe as a first, Activision plans to charge a monthly subscription fee for the service, which will provide extra content that isn't offered on game discs sold in stores, including downloadable map packs that give players new "Call of Duty" levels to play.

  4. I think I am correct in saying its only the elites that had the HDMI port, not the premiums or the arcades. The reason I would suggest that the werent included in these consoles is because this feature encouraged people to pay extra for the elite,

Nah you can get post-2008 premiums with an HDMI port.

  5. Looks great to me  . I will be sure to pick that up. Wikipedia says it's released on August 1st but i'm not sure if thats been made official yet?

Yea from everything I've seen it's August 1st. (tu)
