  4. Well since we are getting all phylosophical in this thread remember we are the forefathers of future generations and we set the tone for what they look back and hold dear - all sense of belonging has a foot in the past but all generations move those beliefs along. To purely cling to the past without recognising and adapting to changes in society, without that adaption, even empires die out. While looking at the past what future do you want to set for our future generations?

To be proud of all our Protestant traditions and culture, and to never forget all our fans who educted their children to carry on with our traditions.I have already educated my sons and grandchildren to make sure our traditions are never forgotten.

I'm not protestant, but love the tradition's and culture of rangers football club :praise:

Well thats different (tu) what are you.?

    Don't want to say

Why?it's Rangers supporter your with, not septic ones.We all know what they are capable of!

    fair enough, I'm catholic.

    ARE YOU BRITISH ???????????

  5. Great article. As an Ulster bear myself it was a great read - though I have cheated as I now live in England, only 2 hours from the ground pipeb.gif

But I always remember the time that I travelled from Belfast for the game against Villareal a few years back. I got the 12.20 boat from Belfast to Stranraer, and we had taken over the entire boat! I dont think there was a single person on that journey who wasn't going to the game! The only people with no Rangers gear on were the ones who were working for stena. It was incredible! laugh.gif

Was there mate, that was one hell of journey loved every minute of it.

But there where loads of other stena Rangers rides we have had fucking brilliant. 00000042.gif

They had to bring the police even on one time as i recall the smeltic cunts where there too not many of them though but enough to cause a stir with us.

    (tu) (tu)

My only complaint was the queue for the burger king on the boat was the longest I've ever seen it. I was starving.

    same here

  8. Well said, I have so much repect for the guys who come over from Ulster every other week for games. The hassle of getting to Ibrox not to mention the cost would put off many people but all credit to those who do come.

same mate, that's real commitment :praise:

    fucking legends

Its our livelihood no need for praise, id probably speak for all us Ulster men "ITS IN OUR BLOOD".

  9. <p style="text-align: justify;">Im always cautious about starting such a thread. Having a great grandfather who was a signatory to the Ulster Covenant..means that I am likely to be less than objective when it comes to all things Ulster. Being anything other than objective is the cardinal sin for any writer. But hey....rules are meant to be broken are they not ?

For those of you who have graced these boards for some time you will be well aware of my various writings on the subject of Rangers and Ulster...or to be more accurate Scotland and Ulster.
