  1. Let's be serious from the word go instead of making flippant comments. It's easy to sit there and make snide comments but what are you actually doing about our situation? I'll repeat myself yet again: From small acorns great Oak trees grow. I wonder too, they know my number and E-Mail address so they can fire off an E-Mail, text or call to me to inform me of their views. What am i doing about the situation, well for one i continue to support the club by forking out for season tickets and merchandise and in return i trust that the people in charge have the best intentions for the club. If that situation changes then like everybody else we'll act... But until then, I'll continue to give the club my full backing. Going with the majority inside the stadium that is the prefer option, as the protest wasn't a success. You might say from small acorns... But really, until you have concrete proof of what you are preaching, you are falling on deaf ears to the majority. Why use two words when you can use 136? Translated, you are doing hee-haw. ...And you are acting on rumours and speculation, prove to us what you are saying is true. By asking questions we are acting on rumours and speculation? Ok dokey. How do you think that procedure is going, because if you can't answer basic questions on why you are asking the question in the first place. Then you are in trouble. At this moment in time it is all just rumours and speculation. Procedure is coming along swimmingly. Come to our next meeting, I'll PM you the details and you can join in the debate along with anyone else who thinks we are doing the wrong thing. Let's be proactive and not reactive.
  2. Rome wasn't built in a day. God, I am full of these anecdotes. Anyway, I'm off for a beautifully cooked canteen lunch. Subsidised my arse.

Now now, don't wnat you getting a nose bleed on that pedestal....... To imply people are doing nothing that aren’t involved in your protest is cringeworthy. Maybe you would be better sticking to your ealrier pledge of answering e mail queries only instead of getting into slagging matches on mb's..... I've never had a nose bleed in my life, genuinely. It's not cringeworthy in the slightest, someone comes on and tries to take the piss out of something which is done for OUR Club, that is cringeworthy. I'd love to answer your query but I have no access in my work to this E-Mail address, when I am in you shall be my number 1 priority however.

  6. I know you don’t post here much but that statement is patently rubbish. Why because you say so , read back through this entire thread some who post the most contribute the least , so if the hat fits , get the picture : I can read back through months of posting on this site, the discussion on this protest is a couple of threads compared to the hundreds since November/December discussing our financial predicament and the causes thereof...... But that's entirely my point we have been talking about this for years never mind months , we have been hit over the head by our enemies with this financial stick for nearly 10 years and we are no nearer getting to answers to what the hell is going on now than we were years ago . So what do we do , well Iniesta decided along with NL to do something about it and insted of helping him and possibly getting some clarity if not 100% of the truth , they get slaughtered post after post because of certain sites loyalties . Truly pathetic Why do you keep repeating this ? I'm sure for some people it may be an issue but the vast majority of people i have seen posting on the subject it has nothing to do with sites and more to do with genuine concerns over the protests and the direction of them. I have respect for what the guys have done and the way they have handled themselves, especially northampton loyalist, eevn though i disagree with them. I think papa's observations yesterday that people semeed to have joined here to argue with people over site loyalties and protests rather than discuss Rangers is a very valid observation and one you should maybe think about. I agree with him in all honesty. I feel folk see this as a Follow Follow thing when it is not the case. Anyway, back to a more important matter: The future of OUR Club. Did you not use follow follows paypal for contributions, maybe where the confusion arose ? Not a criticism but it may answer your question I don’t think the future of our club will be settled until we have a credible buyer waiting in the wings for us to unite behind, right now we have no one, and I include the “consortium” in that. We had someone we could back and there were obstructions in the way stopping them buying the club all of us would move heaven and earth to get it sorted. As soon as they got wind of the Protest it was offered to me. I had no alternatives and was more than happy to use it. If the confusion arose from that I am baffled as it was made crystal from the word go it was Rangers fans.

Truly pathetic My name is Gordon McPherson, call me Gordon, Gordy or Brad Pitt's twin if you wish. I'll do my best to answer anything on all fronts, here included. It's a big task but one which is of immense importance.
  10. You do not have to have donated to send us an E-Mail bud. It is those who are denigrating this, have no interest and want to see us fall flat on our faces. It's comical though, have a read through this thread again, it's brill
  11. The Protest was a success, yes. Our aim was to get banners into the ground and to hand out leaflets and mission statements which were both achieved As for the next step, that is something we shall examine over the next few days. Good to see you are looking to move the protest on further, that is positive. There is no doubt that we all have the best interests of the club at heart, and you should be commended for putting your head above the parapet and making an effort to get answers. I hope you don't take any of my criticism in this thread personally, it is completely constructive on my part. I want to see us get some concrete answers. But further to this i would like to see pressure be put on this Consortium who are acting as secretive as the club they are trying to buy. They need to come forward and start making efforts to communicate with the entire fanbase instead of drip-feeding information to the press and "in the know" people. One of the most infuriating aspects of this. Info coming in dribs and drabs to folk 'in the know', as you say. Don't worry yourself, it hasn't been taken personally. I've got a decent shell for a man of my age
  12. I don't know what this means so I can't really comment. even if you did , you wouldn't give a straight answer as i didnt give any money towards the protest I'll be honest here. If you were not behind it, I've no real concerns with your problems. I was behind the idea in principal but knew it would be hijacked by the group that don't understand the workings of a boardroom But you knew it would be hijacked by the group that don't understand the workings of a boardroom. You type in a manner which portrays you have some knowledge about the goings on with regards to this protest. Expand on that Orangeclement, that interests me greatly.
  13. Since he stood up and put his name to the protest and asked for our money... Seriously, you're right, it shouldn't just be down to Iniesta (and the other organisers) but he's put himself forward as a focal point so I'm trying to help via constructive suggestions and questions. Unfortunately, I can't commit to doing anything more at this stage so respect you point about unfair criticism on these people. Fortunately, Iniesta and NL have been most patient so far in that regard which is why they're undeserving of the unfair stuff we've read recently. In the absence of genuine information (I've no reason to disbelieve contacts on RM or sccgers on FF) they're entitled to ask the questions many of us share with them. All the more reason for the fan groups to take up the baton on their behalf as I've urged Iniesta to request. It hasn't been easy being patient Then again, it's for The Rangers
  14. In that case, do you intend requesting the consortium go public to place more pressure on those who are alleged to be running the club? Surely, you must be frustrated the continue to use ordinary fans good intentions while hiding in the background themselves? The two articles posted over the weekend are only opinion pieces and I think that was made clear in them - or certainly subsequently. Certainly, they're no more fact that anything else than has been portrayed elsewhere in the very same way - be it other forums, on radio shows and in newspapers. Clarity should still be your main objective. And Donald Muir need not be the only one requested to supply it - even if I'm less convinced than others regarding his words. We have already requested they go Public in our Mission Statement but I would certainly like to gauge others opinions on whether that is something we should do. I feel it is appropriate. The two articles have worked wonders for us with regards to this. They've thrown up more questions than answers which only Anthonys our fire, it was nigh on perfect. I agree re Donald Muir. Since when did it fall it iniesta to carry out the work of the entire fan base , jesus h christ the hypochrisy of some on here is beyond belief , here we have one guy who has gotten off his arse and is trying to do the best , in his opinion , for our club yet he gets slaughtered by the lazy majority , you really couldn't make this up. There has been more time spent disecting the pro's and cons of this protest than there has been getting to the root cause of why we are in such a bad mess , I'm starting to get the impression that some are more than happy for our current predicament to continue just so they can bump their gums . The internet based fans do not really constitute a great percentage of the fanbase as a whole and at times I believe we get ideas way above our station with regards the importance of what we believe and the importance of what we say . We have an apathetic group of fans , and have had for years , used to being spoon fed by Murray and his appologists , continually telling us what to do and what not to do , is it any real surprise we turn on our own because that's what we are used to . I really fear for our future , but it will be okay because some unknown posters who have inside knowledge are being told that it will be okay , SDM is an absolute genius and unfortunately sometimes in life you get what you deserve . Since I decided to do something about it. Putting my name into the Public domain invites folk to have a pop at me, I'd just rather they came and met me face to face instead of hiding behind a keyboard. I do believe one plonker called me a "fan dan" Come have a blether son.
