if everybodys on his back from the off then its going to put him under pressure then we wont get to see the best out of him.

well i do not trust Walter , his style of football and his team selections are pish
as for your comment about people booing him , and telling them to GTF , it is up to the individual how they display their feelings on this signing
this forum is full of people telling others to GTF , maybe they should look at themselves , and follow their own advice
because people are entitled to their own opinion , whether you like it or not
miller will be one of the main reasons WS & co will lose their jobs if they do not win the title , because he is just a poor player

Im not a fan of the signing at all, but you make a good point Lynne. At the end of the day I will always be a Rangers supporter.

we will all still be rangers fans but that doesnt mean we have to roll over and accept everything that the manager does hes not right all the time as some of our posters seem to think

I'm willing to give Walter the benefit of the doubt
One things for sure though - Miller has to hit the ground running when the season starts
couldnt agree more and he needs the fans off his back to do that

if we dont make group stages of champions league walter ally and miller will come under increased pressure from the supporters which ultimatley will manifest itself on miller

whats 7m going to get us tho,davis will cost 3m if we keep him,that leaves 4m for 3 or 4 quality signings,wel get 1 quality player with 4m if wer lucky

The club will spend more than 5 million easy.
This is just a ploy by Rangers to stop other clubs trying to get more money out of us.
If they said that Walter would have £30 million to spend, clubs would try and get more money out of us by pushing up asking prices when we enquire.
Its the right thing to do.

i knew this would happen, and we'll only spend 3 million net as reported, which given the players we are going to have to sell to generate the rest, is going to leave us up the clyde in a banana boat :angry2:
SDM will be using the bulk of last seasons income to make the accountants a bit happier and you can rest assured the Hutton money has already gone there,
in a nutshell we are going to be left with cheap shite to make a team from and in all honesty i'm resigned to the fact that we wont be seriously challenging for the league next season,
we need long term investment and SDM out, it's the only way we can move forward and gain some meaningfull success.
the club will sell a lot easier if it doesnt have much debt,the money we have made this season will go towards paying that off then he'l walk away while rubbing his hands :2g:
..but the alternative is to spend big and go further into debt. Being in debt is a viscious circle - just like if you buy goods you crave on a credit card... the right balance must be found, but in all honesty playing in the SPL means we will never be able to pay for Class A players... simple as that.
Personally I think it'll be about 7m we spend, but the messages are being given out to manage the expectations of selling agents and us fans (some of which would love to borrow another £20m and 'go for it', which would be financial suicide!)
we wouldnt need to borrow 20m as we already have it in the bank

quite agree. but last season we rebuilt and much was recouped by the sale of hutton.
murray also announced that the stadium and surrounding area plans would be brought to the public's attention in May but this has not happened.
as far as im concerned the quicker he sells the club the better, but dont expect any less than him to milk it for every penny he can before he gets out.

all the papers are saying that walter will only have a small budget this season,roughly 3-5m.if thats the case then its a feckin joke.we have made 30m easy on europe and the sale of hutton and all murray is giving him is about 10% of it.hope to hell this is jist a publicity stunt to stop teams demanding a lot more money!!!!if its not then were fucked to put it politely,we wont be able to challenge the mhanks next season and it will be 4 in a row

did it with hutton and look at him now,one of the best right backs in Britain.before walter returned hutton was a target for the boo boys!!!
whose to say he wont bring the best out of miller?he did it with him in the scotland team and was scoreing goals for fun.
whose to say he wont do it with rangers??????
give him a chance to find out and if it doesnt then we can say to walter a told u so and say to miller gtf
