It should be the goalkeeper in my opinion. Vice captains in Davis and Boca.
-
A throwback to when men were men and footballers didn't wear purple and orange boots.
Everything a captain of The Rangers should be.
-
Hateley.
McCoist.
Papac.
-
Total prick of a man.

Bumpity bump.

a tenner to ask someone a question are you off your rocker?
as good a cause as this is i reckon you charging folk a tenner per question is ripping the piss out of rangers fans
Its also a 1/20 chance at winning a limited edition hoodie from 1872 that can be signed by the interviewee if you want.
To suggest that the RSEA are ripping the piss out of Rangers fans is crass and untrue.
Anyway, on to my question, what player from before your time at The Rangers had you wished you played with? What about after you left?
Thanks to all that enter and as RWA says above myself and the other guys from The Pod are very excited to run with the idea.

For those that are worried about not having access to iTunes we will have a direct download available on the WATP Pod website. We will, of course, post the link up here as we do with most episodes.
Don't let that hold you back from submitting a question and supporting the RSEA!

Instead of charging about message boards posting pish why not break out a dictionary and look up the words perspective and objectivity. Divot.

Wonder who'll be the next whipping boy
Jig, Naisy, Lafferty, Miller, Papac... Wait a minute...
-
So it is now official that Whitts is this seasons whipping boy? I don't understand why our support continuously has to have someone to beat up. It is sad.
-
Does anyone out there have some good photographs of Jim Forrest? I need them for the WATP Podcast Hall of Fame page. He was out latest entrant this week.
Many thanks in advance.
-
I'd like to suggest Johnny Hubbard for the HOF, failing that, since it was his tribute dinner recently, Derek Parlane.
Hubby is an outstanding shout. That is happening shortly.
-
The Hall of Fame is making a return on the next pod, folks. We would like to ask you all who you think should be the next great to be welcomed in...
So, lets have your suggestions...

Last we heard Todd was filling in for old Joe Ratzi and continuing his tour around Italy, so we got on with it and joining myself and Ross again is Iaian (sic) and we are ably produced by a slightly hungover but still more than capable Darcy.
We’re away to Hamilton. Turgid much?
We go all fatcat and get bloated on Champions League as we look ahead to Old Trafford.
Some discussion from the Facebook wall and some quite outstanding XI’s to have scored in a Cup Final, especially Johns!
Finally, the “Officially Unofficial” HOF gets a legend through the doors this week at an especially poignant time.
All this in less time than it takes Scotland to score two goals against Liechtenstein.
You can now subscribe easily through iTunes. Click HERE to subscribe.
At The Match:
- Hamilton v Rangers
Off The Pitch:
- We look at the Man Utd game
- We’ve got listener email, all the way from the land of the Kiwi
- No voicemails…again
- A quick(ish) discussion on the Scotland game and the bad apples in the dressing room
- Our Rangers XI’s to have scored in a cup final
This week’s RSC Review:
None, c’mon seriously, are you all shy?!
This week’s Hall of Fame Inductee:
Mr. Brian Laudrup (HOF entry to be added)

Team of the week: A European performances XI. Outstanding performances from European campaigns. In honour of the Champions starting their European campaign in Madchester tonight. 'Mon The Rangers!
Submissions welcome on this thread or on the Facebook wall.
-
is this on itunes yet? i couldnt find it last time.. if its the podcast im thinking of.
It certainly is, mate. Click on the link from the original post and you will be taken to the page.
-
Just a quick note troops. Our XI for the week is one made up from players who have scored in a cup final for The Rangers. Choose the goalie by taking one who posted a clean sheet in a final.
Post them on this thread and/or the FB wall and we will pick the best ones for next weeks show.
Cheers.

With Todd away to visit the Vatican and promote the podcast within the Rangers stronghold of Rome we are joined this week by a special guest, no, not that kind of special. Well sort of, he is half deaf. Pressing buttons and making sure we can be heard is producer Darcy and John attempts to drive the bus (off a cliff)
With no Gers game to review we go all “och aye the noo” and visit Lithuania “At The Match”.
As per usual we go off course on “Off The Pitch”, look at the best of the Facebook wall and induct another legend into the “Officially Unofficial” HOF courtesy of our special guest.
You can now subscribe easily through iTunes. Click HERE to subscribe.
At The Match:
- A look at Rangers/Scotland vs. Hearts/Lithuania which shouldn’t have taken long but inevitably did, probably longer than the match itself
Off The Pitch:
- Ricky Foster loan deal is approved by us (John’s anger finally subsides or is it just subdued?)
- We’ve got listener email, all the way from Laaaaaaadan
- No voicemails, shame on you all
- A look at the new DW prison in Wigan for Rangers fans
- Our treble winning Rangers XI’s.
This week’s RSC Review:
None (you have shamed us)
This week’s Hall of Fame Inductee:
Jock Wallace (HOF entry to be added)
Go to the Hall of Fame page and see who’s made it in there already.
Please also check out our podcast link at rangersmedia.co.uk.

two wonderful players but different , laudrup played in spurts during matches, where as baxter completely controlled games like a conductor. undoubtedly the best player in the world in his position.rangers were never the same when he left and celtic went on to do 9iar
Almost exactly what my Dad says, mate. Who else played in Baxter's position that were top players at the time?
-
Remember Kaunas?
Yep. Hard to forget that one.
-
Bears,
How does the new shirt fit compared to last years model? I am getting one picked up for me next week.
Thanks in advance.

Naismith has been very inconsistent. He is a forward. We need more strength and consistency in midfield. Davis, Edu, McCulloch and Weiss.
Try out Ness, Hutton, McMillan etc. too.
Davis at cm, with either Edu or Lee, Weiss wide right and either Naismith or Wylde wide left.
Both fair assertions. Even if Davo sticks out and finds his form in the centre of the park it is nice to know that Naismith can play there a la the first game of the season. It will be a tile game all over the pitch this season. The adaptability of the squad will be tested to the full.
Regardless of anything Naismith has started the season really well playing in three different roles; centre midfield, in the wide areas and as a withdrawn wide midfield player.
Long may it continue, we will need it.
