  1. How the fuck they playing that? L96 AW =

Got released onto the net, allowing people with JTAG's to download. Know a guy who has it, it's only online though.

  2. I, it's if you changed your nationality to a country that never had it's own leaderboards, you got more than the normal amount of points for win/loss. It's a joke why they reset everyone but hey-ho. :sherlock:

  3. Standard forum rules must be followed. If they not, then appropriate action will be taken by the forum staff.

    FORUM RULES

The Design Team at RangersMedia takes "ripping", or stealing other peoples work, very seriously. It will not be tolerated and action may be taken if it found that a member has "ripped" the work of another. This includes using stealing parts of other peoples work, using parts of psd's without permission, passing off other peoples work as your own and any other form of stealing the work of others.

    Requests:

Members must have a minimum of 50 post to make a request from the RM Design Team.

But yeah, let's just leave this now

You may have missed my post, both yours and mine were posted at the same time.

It is for the owner of the images in question to challenge to work, as the FORUM RULES you quote clearly state.

Can you show me the FORUM RULE which states that an individual poster should be singled out and condemned for a 'crime' that we all, including his accusers, do?

Anyway i'm out of here, it's obvious we share different opinions on a few matters so there's no point discussing it further as it will just go in a continuous circle. Let's leave it now anyway mate and go back to making our own sigs etc. :sherlock:

  5. I know it doesn't belong to me, that's not the point I am making. I did not claim to make the image, unlike the OP then from it's my opinion where it obviously differs from yours on the "copy and pasting" matter.

First of all, I know it's not the point you're making. It's the point I am making. We all use images without permission and without giving credit, including you.

As for the OP, the OP claimed to have made a wallpaper, which he did indeed do. That wallpaper did not exist until the OP created it. The OP used various elements and the piece he created differed significantly from each of them.

He did not claim to have created any of the individual elements: the background, the photograph of Scholes, the font or indeed the technique used.

It is a distinct piece of work in its own right which required creativity on his part to create.

  7. I have no background on both of those images, so I have no judgement or opinion. Just leave it at this, all I was doing was stating MY opinion on the way people claim things that aren't theres fully.

  8. Doubt it although, the way I see it when a design is created solely from scratch (bar the opera house) if you are going to use it - or part of it - you must give credit for the artist who created it. That's me being generous I guess though and i'm sure many other designers would do the same out of decency. Especially if I claimed to make it, each to their own I guess though.

Sorry, but you seem to have missed the point. I gave the opera house as an example. It seems clear that the whole structure of the design has been cut and pasted together. This is no more or less than the OP done when making his wallpaper.

If cutting and pasting is good enough for the 'original' work, without giving credit, then the same should apply to the OP.

I may have missed your point, regardless that's my opinion of peoples work I just don't think it feels right claiming something as your own when you didn't create it fully. Like I said though each to their own.
