  1. Stop buying fucking tickets if you all hate the club so much.

Either that or stop taking life so seriously. When you start judging someone by the football team they support it really is a downward spiral.

It's the bigoted, angry, irrational fools that ruin it for everyone on both sides of the old firm.

See you at Ibrox, gonna take a big Stocksy banner with an arrow on the 6th, feel free to come up and carry on the argument then, pricks!

What about their own safety if they felt threatened and about to be attacked/ambushed? does that not count? you can lash out in self-defence.

People like you and Stokesy are the type of people that can happily sit in a pub full of Celtic fan mates and have them call us cheats, H***, zombies, orange bastards and you will sit there apologising for your fellow supporters. It shines right out you's.

I have many Celtic fan mates, i can happily sit in a pub and wind them up while taking banter back.

Next time i'm there i'll glass them purely based on their heritage just to keep you happy tho.

More important things in my life than a football forum hence my lack of posts.

    Won't be back either.

That quote a few posts ago about you made " if fans have active criminal proceedings related to acts at a football match " that's a prime example of victimising fans and judging them before they are found guilty or confirmed not guilty.

189 posts in six years and never so vocal in a thread than he has been tonight - a thread about Bears getting banned.

    It's ripping out of him.

Never realised what a bunch of fucking retards there was lurking on here.

Forgot it was the school holidays.

Read my other posts before you get panties in a twist.

I know you have no idea - that's why it's amazing you can talk pish about me with such conviction.

I've not admitted disorder at the football. I said I've got one football related conviction - I've not told you what it is - it could mean anything football related. I could have done a Duncan Ferguson during a game of 5 a side football, called someone a fenian bastard on Twitter and been charged or anything for that matter.

I'm going with bigotry, call it a hunch.

  5. I defend my club at all costs, i've been attending almost 30 years and never once in trouble and you're the judge of a good fan.

The club has a real positive vibe at the moment and the current board have done a great job.

You are an extremist fan if there is such a thing, so blinkered by hate, focused on vengeance for the past injustice to our club that you aren't thinking rationally.

Yeah I do understand all that, I just don't think it's right. I think the club should have the courage to stand by their earlier convictions and remain loyal to the fans - ones that paid thousands following, buying shares and season tickets to help save the club than be sold out for them to try and claw some kudos with the governing bodies, media and clubs that wanted us dead.

I see what you are saying I just don't agree. We should be more principled and loyal especially after the outstanding statement made after the final. I'm not even surprised, seen it coming (as I alluded to in the OP)

We aren't in the SS. Rangers is a football club not an ideology. The only common denominator any of us need is that we want our team to win, the rest is open to debate, something you should try without the chip on yer shoulder.

  7. Never put a foot wrong, some meaty tackles as well. Didn't sit as deep as Barton or come as short but in a lot of ways his introduction seemed to push the whole team a few yards forward as he could press quicker and higher.

    High hopes.

Fair play I'm glad you agree it's a mistake.

But no, I can't understand the decision. What is there that's to understand about them showing no regard for the innocent until proven guilty ethos?

if fans have active criminal proceedings related to acts at a football match

key point here, court proceedings aren't taken lightly, there must be some evidence implicating those accused.

I wouldn't expect them to ban anyone before a trial they pleaded not guilty in or go back on the best statement they've ever made to hang their own fans out to dry.

You really don't get it, do you?

I fucking agree its a mistake from the club. My god, didn't i make that clear? They have jumped the gun, however if fans have active criminal proceedings related to acts at a football match you can understand the decision.

  10. Quite clearly there's too many teenage hormones flying around to have any sort of constructive debate. Afraid i'm not interested in turning this into some sort of personal fued. Go punch the missus for burning the dinner, even better go hit the bottle cause she left you already.... is what i would say if i even gave a flying fuck what you think :)

If you agree with the club and you think good Rangers fans that follow the club everywhere getting banned (before trial and a guilty verdict for some) is acceptable then I'm sorry you are no better than a tarrier. You may be a Rangers supporter but you don't act like it.

So show me a fan banned who didn't invade the pitch? I want to see an innocent victim.

Why do people roll out this "different opinion" line when they get caught out talking utter pish and can't handle the heat they get for it.

A difference of opinion would be something like "I think the fans were wrong to spill onto the pitch and fight back" .. fair enough. You can agree or disagree with that but they say some of the other crap about bans were right (despite in at least one of the cases out these 2 letters there's a not guilty plea and no trial as of yet), fans acting like thugs, right wing hooligans, club had no choice (despite contradicting their earlier statement) - that's utter taig-talk and a cop out saying difference of opinion when pulled up on it.

Difference of opinion is totally embraced - talking like a tarrier and siding with enemies over our own who's been treated like shite is totally out of order.

I will never be an enemy of Rangers FC, amazing fans can be called beasts for agreeing with the club they support. Even tho i don't agree it's the only option open to the board. You can't invade the pitch under any circumstance, full fucking stop.

Can anyone put their right hand up to god and state they received a ban and they didn't actually enter the pitch? If so maybe i can change my opinion.

  13. Here i thought i was reasonable, then you're calling me a bheast, feels like a contradiction.

Tell you what, ill post a pic of me on the 6th of August firmly in my seat with my sister and wee boy then you can re-read this thread and point out exactly what i've said to suggest anything else. Agreed it's a little impartial but thats because i go to the football to support my team with my family. So if a bear is a die hard, right wing 20 something hooligan who's more interested in politics than football maybe i'm just a Rangers supporter.

Anyone actually watching the game? Niko started showboating.

not one fan started a riot from the rangers fanbase, with a comment like that your leanings are in question on here

Hibs fans get the blame of this nothing more or less, our club should be standing shoulder to shoulder with these fans in defiance of whatever shite the SFA and police scotland wish to throw our way, instead they spineless bastards in our boardroom will likely ban more of our fans than the hibs board will do of theirs

disgusting way to treat a supporter thats just dumped a good part of 400 quid into the club perhaps, but again its sleekit dave in charge

My leanings, god people are so fickle. I can assure you i'm a bear, read through my posts over the last however many years if you really care enough.

If the entire stand had taken the law into their own hands to protect the players it would have been a riot. Even a few running on escalates the situation and is inciting further violence.

I never said anyone started a riot. At the end of the day fans shouldn't be on the pitch. Tired of the excuses. The right thing to do would be leave the stadium and let Hibs deal with the repercussions. The fact so many Rangers fans did just that shows that people can have restraint. Those who entered the pitch from our end are in the wrong, sure they had their reasons but a lack of control was clearly one of them.

I'd love to bash a hibs neds head as much as the next man but i'll say it again, this isn't the 80's.

No not because a difference of opinion actually, guys with low post costs who you've never seen before popping up to say stuff which backs bans, arrests and totally missed the other points raised about season books being taken off people before they are found guilty and bullshit statements from the club. That's what's infuriating not differences of opinion for fuck sake. Think about it for a minute

The validity of an opinion clearly shouldn't be judged by post count. I didn't miss those points, just agreed that the punishment should have awaited the criminal proceedings so chose not to argue those points. If you are trying to make a reasonable and justifiable statement you should probably cool down and try to be more objective before posting. People who bullshit this and that, fuck this and that and have an aggressive tone generally have a very biased and stubborn pov so please excuse me if i choose to ignore any further goading.
