Won't look like that by 7pm tonight, and definitely not over the weekend. Have to remember they've only been on public sale a few hours, people have work etc.
Just had a look at the stadium plan and the ticket uptake is really slow.. which makes me wonder why so many have had problems in getting through to the ticket office?
-
Why is it, that in the run up to most matches, any fans can have a good choice of seats In bf1.. what are the UB / TBO's current numbers?
-
Although looking at the availability on the website Ibrox currently looks as though it'll be nearer empty than full.

This means very little as we support the football club, which is now owned by the newco

Purchased. I never thought I'd see the day where I was genuinely looking forward to seeing Rangers play East Fife, but we could be playing anyone.. The opponent is irrelevant..
We're only here to see The Rangers

Still no online sale. Has anyone gone through the ticket hotline asked about this?

We are getting as bad as Tim O'Ffended
No we're not, because we're not offended.. the point is that we've let our club get slaughtered left, right and centre over bigotry for too long and if this was a Rangers player calling a fan a fenian bastard it would be plastered all over the internet and newspapers.. but a player calling Rangers fans orange bastards and there is not a peep because we've allowed it to happen.
The silence damages our club and this started under Murray and Bain. We're not offended but want a level playing field

Right troops, I'm not on here that often so if this has been done/said already then apologies!
Ive never been convinced by CG! I'm a season ticket holder in the BR! After attending the John Brown speech a while back, I was convinced more than I'd ever been, that this man should be nowhere near our sacred club, and i definitely wasn't renewing my ST until he was out of the club, and real rangers men were in! Having said that, after finally being given license to play in the cup, and if all goes to plan, being granted our full SFL license on friday, I was going to renew ASAP! But today I decided to watch the footage of the brown speech that I had recorded and I've got to say I just don't trust Green! Clapping you're hands doesn't make you reliable, honest or trustworthy! I think he's just letting the fans see/hear what HE thinks that they want to hear! This is just my opinion! But for those of you who were at Brown speech, I would ask you to watch it again via you're phone/laptop and ask yourself again 'is this the man (CG) to lead our club'? Now I'm not saying I wont renew, but watching that back again, I again have my doubts (as I've always had) and felt the same sense of anger I did that day about who's hands RFC is in! I'm not looking for an argument here, I just want to know if any of my fellow blunoses feel the same? - I urge you to watch the footage again before responding to this! WATP!
I'm glad you're not renewing your season ticket because no true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set to him and you have just failed. Follow Follow

No they haven't.. The company that owns Rangers has changed their name
-
Think the OP is right in highlighting this. I don't give a feck for the fan being called an orange bastard, we sing a few orange songs so basically he's just calling him a bastard but.. The important factor is how different the response would be to a Rangers player calling a fan a fenian bastard

Have to remember that the record Rangers hold of being the most successful domestic club in the world is for major honours won, unfortunately for the Linfield claims, semi pro / part time leagues and cups don't count towards this.
They can only play the hand they've been given and they're damn good at it but they won't be classed in the same category as Rangers in the record books
-
nope. taking the seats out then having to put them back in in a few years time is a waste of money
It would only be safe standing areas, which are common in Germany, those have been given the green light.
The seats arent taken out as they are required for European matches, they are simply changed to be folded back for domestic games

Can this even be possible?
SPL and SFL are two seperate organizations. We were not granteed entry to be a member of the SPL and we are now members of the SFL. How can a seperate organization which currently has no links to Rangers (newco) be entitled to any £s raised by the SFL or SFL member clubs media contracts
-
With what fucking money!!!
What info do you have that we don't, that suggests there is no money?
-
Seriously?

The company has, yes. But it is not on the badge of the TEAM.
If you still are saying they are not taing the piss with the draw you are wrong imo
No, the club or team as you put was formed before any such company's and the gallant pioneers founded The Rangers.. Simply Rangers Football Club, like it or not is not the correct / original name for our club.. Saying that, I'll be interested if the media start also referring to Celtic as The Celtic.. because that is their name
-
I dont think it is a good idea. Too many issues and tragedies, keep it as it is.
It's a great idea, no issues as it has been given the green light to be explored. Safe standing areas, no tragedies, works perfectly well in the bundesliga

Sorry for causing all of this trouble
My point was that our "Club Name" is Rangers Football Club and therefore Rangers.
This The Rangers is what they have took from our company name which is officially "The Rangers Football Club, a trading name of Sevco Scotland Limited"
However the old company was "The Rangers Football Club plc" so The Rangers has always been there.
'The Rangers' does seem to be some sort of newco dig at us, I don't see The Celtic Football Club being referred to as 'The Celtic'
-
The Rangers.. the club was founded as The Rangers, the name was changed to just Rangers. Many bears including myself and even Super Ally often refer to us as The Rangers.
It's no real problem however.. we should be referred to as simply Rangers, the same way in that 'The Celtic Football Club' (official name) are referred to as simply celtic.

Rest in peace little guy. Rangers Family

Seen this on the ITN evening news, well said that chap.. had this been a BBC news report, I've no doubt they'd avoid a well dressed, well spoken supporter and grab a passer by carrying a farmfoods bag to interview

How's it a great idea? Are you really goingto leave EK to make your way to Ibrox to watch something tahst live on TV and in your local pub? Really...are you?
Oh and you dont negotiate with the home club, they dont own the TV rights.
There is no current TV deal in place to show our 3rd division games live on TV, unless you know something I don't? I'm sure this will be looked at by broadcasters but should a deal not be drawn up to show our games live on TV then beambacks should be explored. Loved travelling from Ayrshire to watch a couple of beam backs during the hunt for 10 in a row season.
And you do have to negotiate with the home club for showing their home match. Would be similar rules to previous beam backs.

I get the feeling he'd be willing to take that risk, he's not a man afraid to tread on a few toes.
This. He's a business man and although he may listen to the supporters, he'll make his move based purely on financial grounds.

Since it has been announced (and even before it) we will be in the 3rd division my FB and this site has had one message after another laying the blame at nearly everyones door. The SFA/SPL, the media including The record, The Sun, Sky, BBC, STV etc, the other clubs in Scotland. Its all I see now. Why are all these people being blamed? Whyte and Murray are the ones who have put us where we are. Them and anyone else connected with them that knew what was going on.
SFA/SPL - They originally in my opinion tried to give us a slap on the wrist with a paltry £160k fine and a 12 month transfer embargo. IMO this was great and I couldnt believe anyone within our ranks opposed this. Then they got their hands forced and the decided to make the other clubs make the decision. They didnt relegate us or put us where we are so why blame them?
The Media - They have reported on every piece of shit news that has involved our club, right from Whyte coming in. Would the media have been any different had it been Celtic or a massive club in England? Of course it wouldnt have been, so why think the media is against us? All this lets boycott the media utter nonsense.
Other SPL and SFL clubs - All ive read is "we want division 3, put us there". It happens and we go there and suddenly its all "Fuck all the other clubs I hope they all die". WTF its what we wanted and they give it to us and we go mad about it? We wanted it or we didnt? One of our own main songs has the lyrics "no one likes us, we don't care" so should we have expected anything else? We have always enjoyed the fact that others hated and were jealous of us.
My take on it is I'm gutted. I for one didn't want the 3rd division. I think it will take us a good 5 years to get back and a further 2 or 3 before we are serious contenders again. This has handed those cunts at least 7 titles IMO. I also don't want to see the death of the SPL as other seem to be taking delight in hoping this happens. Have people not realised that if it does die then so does Scottish football? We are part of that and that means we die too.
We are where we are because of certian individuals within our club. No one else. Time to stop blaming everyone else. Its time to move forward. I don't want to be known as the club with a massive chip on its shoulder. I want to be known as the club who accept they have made huge mistakes but ae making amends for it with dignity and class.
Totally disagree. I think you're completely missing the point as to why the Rangers support is angry towards your points. We've been kicked and battered from pillar to post and you seem to suggest this is OK because it was whyte and Murray's making. I find it difficult to comprehend a fellow bear has not noticed the hatred towards our club and the enjoyment from all parties in our downfall.
