Been a member of the travel club the last few years it ran been to many euro away games.
I'm a non season ticket holder and so use our RSC's like many others do I'm sure. Now being excluded from European away games, have to say I'm very unhappy

That is a recipe for disaster. So the Director of Football buys in 3 new players who don't fit the coach's style of play so he doesn't pick them. 3 wasted wages.
The European model, at least the way Ajax run it, is that the manager identifies an area in the team that needs strengthening. The DoF is the given a brief of the type of player required, he then proceeds to scour the globe for players matching that brief and presents the options to the manager who then decides who should be signed.

I am sure I have heard that the star and garter is a bheggar leaning pub anyway , might be wrong right enough but the name rings a bell
With that name it really should be a more bear friendly pub...but would be just like them to drink in an establishment with a name harking to Masonic iconography

Yes.
This isn't some knee jerk reaction to today's result. I have patiently waited for things to improve as this is supposed to be a 3 year project. We are now almost at the half way point and the problems that were apparent at the beginning are still prevalent. No discernable progress has occurred and there is very little evidence that it will.
A change is required, we may have to endure the rest of the season (and I will support the team 100% through it) but barring a revelation of biblical proportions a new manager is required

I've defended Kiernan for a long time but yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. He has to go and I don't care how.

Was once told the story of a season ticket holder who went to every game...when it came to the scum he would be in the stands right up until kickoff and would then go and sit in to bogs until the end of the game and would just listen for the roars

Aw well if this is true, lads there's only one thing left to do.
These strips are now classed as limited edition so get them while they're hot!!!

Hang on, how would this even work?
I am reasonably sure there will be a clause int he RR deal that stops us selling any merch outside of RR. ( it would be wierd for a clause like that not to exist imo )
If that's the case then how would we sell the strips? would we have to make a deal with under armour through RR, and if so then are we not still feeding ashley money?
This is all very wierd.
With RRL no longer having a license to use our trademarks on merchandise I would imagine that any deal struck would have to be done with the club directly
-
I'm nearly sure there was a rumour that went around during last season that said Under Armour would be our new kit supplier when everything was finally sorted. must go digging...
-
No statement would also completely confuse the situation following the removal of the license to use our crest/trademarks
-
Last year he did say that the challenge cup and league cup first rounds were being utilised as our final preseason games too so that'll do for me.
Though next year when we are in Europe and have to start the qualifying rounds at this time of the year I'd be hoping for more preparation work and friendlies beforehand
-
In case any potential sponsors are looking in...yes whatever's on our shirt becomes the sole product of my life and I spend 80% of my monthly wages on it.
-
I'd imagine these games will be treated as the bulk of our pre-seaon. With 30th free might yet get a trip away somewhere

Were Peterhead in any danger of selling 20,000 tickets?
So is the Peterhead one tbf.
I'm not trying to suggest peterhead are capable of anything like that, and I understand the 50/50 split and yes it's annoying that loyal bears miss out for glory hunting hibs fans but themselves the breaks as they say. All I was trying to do was reason as to why people are outraged at this split.
I saw a stat earlier, and I don't know how accurate it is, that hibs average attendance this season is 45% of their capacity whereas ours is 88%. And judging by their pathetic showing at the semi final I don't believe that they should have got a 50/50 split

I'm not really sure how people are outraged at a cup final being a 50/50 split.
They're outraged because it's difficult to justify giving a team that can't fill half their ground on a regular basis half the tickets for the final.
If we go on the logic that it's a final on neutral ground so the split should be 50/50 then Peterhead should've got half the tickets for the challenge cup final

People who went to the semi will NOT be included is what I am gathering from the OP
Sorry I read it as the Semi Final attendees would get a ticket and not go into a ballot. All other ST holders would
-
Can understand the club wanting to make sure those who were at the semifinal are suitably rewarded. We do the same in the supporters club, go to the semi guaranteed ticket for the final.
But for those that had been to every game beforehand then missed out in the ballot for the semi it's a bit shit. Have to introduce a points system on par with the travel club

Should be only 2 years left, was a 5 year deal starting 2013.
But I agree not a fan of puma would rather we went back to adidas
