Great news, hopefully will help to free up some funds for January.
Must pay homage to Lemon for being rubbish and gaining us extra cash

Seems Dr reid has decided that he wants no shame on his club for what will be a solemn occasion on the 2nd Jan at Ibrox and he has given no tickets to anyone who is in the green brigades section at the piggery, effectively banning them.
I realise the rest of there support has the capacity to shame themselves but removing the worst of the filth amongst there support can surely only help.
Is rare praise for celtic deserved or it is two fingers up to the people protesting against him.....i guess we will never know
At least somthing has been done against them, now just waiting for the announcement that these "people" have been banned from the piggery and every other ground.
Won't hold my breath...

Ally McCoist...Gers hero or not has zero managerial experience and it is a risk with money or not managing the institution that is Rangers.
Who else would be ready I don't know.
I would like Ray Wilkins in some capacity
Ally might not have the experience but he knows the club top to bottom, commands the respect of the players and fans. All we need to know is if he has the tactical acumen to manage on his own, and after all these years learning from Walter I would be quietly confident in his ability

I did overlook the prospect of spending £25 million on 7 or 8 players, then keeping a settled squad for the next 5 years. That would be ideal, with 1 or 2 out and 1 or 2 in every summer.
That would be the ideal situation, maintaining a level of consistency within the squad allowing it to bond and grow to remain successful. Unlike a certain club I could mention that has operated a revolving door policy in the last couple of seasons, and we all know what they have "achieved".

the slightly re-assuring thing for me is that at least we know that Whyte is someone who is a fan of the club so at least he will know of the history and traditions of the club and isn't some outsider who hasn't got a clue about us.
Though the fact that Ellis is involved leaves me with a touch of apprehension as I'm still a little worried by his motives, going on previous attempts he has made at taking over football clubs, particularly QPR at the turn of the century when all he seemed to be interested in was the potential to make money by moving the club and selling the ground for prime real estate

Lot of papers today saying Greegs could be subject of a £5 to £6 million bid from Aston Villa! Considering Craig Gordon went for £9M, If we were to sell (I hope we don't by the way) I believe we should be asking for £15M with a view to accepting an absolute minimum of £10M. He has two and a half years on his contract and there are not many keepers of his class around at the moment so he should not go on the cheap.
Thoughts?
If he was to go this season, and I sincerly hope that won't be the case, no less than £10mill

Read that the players had to get out and push the bus and helped other motorists as well
These common motorists should have been helping to clear the snow for the Scottish champions not the other way round
Another reason why We Are The People

Both. They are doing everything they can to deflect from the fact that they are a really poor team.
They say jump and the SFA ask how high, in which direction and what do they do when they land.
I would be very surprised if they don't mention our postponed game during the course of this week

just the billy boys. though if you sing anything religious (about the pope etc) expect trouble as well.
alot of people dont believe their is anything banned by uefa.
I know The Billy Boys is banned, was wondering if maybe by some stretch of the imagination a scum song might be on it that could be used against them for a change
Although if there is no official list available for fans to peruse how are we to know what Uefa believes contravene their rules? Maybe they just want us to revert to type, the silent protestant majority.
-
This subject really riles me, we are constantly hearing about Rangers fans singing "sectarian" songs, yet nothing about the scum that frequent the piggery and chant and sing about a criminal organisation.
Has anyone actually seen this list of banned songs that Uefa have or any idea where to find it?

Hate those ads, but love that pic

Well that certainly came out of the blue

IN WALTER WE TRUST

He was certainly the first politician I exected to speak out about it.
He has raised the issue of IRA songs being sung at the piggery in parliment a few times and refused a request to attend a game whilst he was NI sports minister as he believed celtic had not done enough to prevent pro-IRA songs.

Have to agree, since he came to us he hadn't done anything really and it's great to see him finally find his feet.
Always great when one of our own proves everyone wrong....providing they still play in blue
