I was lucky enough to get two £95 tickets from the ballot and I have them for sale on an auction.
I've paid over the odds before to see my team so I know what it's like. For example I paid €300 for 2 tickets to see Everton play Alkmaar in Amsterdam when the face price was about €18 each - you do these things when you love your team.
I think most people with tickets for a high profile match that they don't want to use would try to cash in, and that is what a lot of people, me included, are doing. Let's be upfront about it. Nobody is forcing anybody to bid. I guess we all like to make a fast buck.
Anyway, I am not going to link to my auction as I understand that isn't allowed.
I am willing to stop the auction now for a reasonable margin above the current price. Payment will need to be by PayPal - I will send a Paypal invoice and you can pay using your debit or credit card (no PayPal account required). I am willing to stop the auction as there are too many uncertainties - lots of blag bids being made and so on and you don't know who is genuine.
I have a picture of the reverse of the 2 tickets so you can see the official imprint "inside" the ticket so you know they are genuine. I will email if required. You can also look up my user id (UKEFC) on Ebay and see my feedback ratings.
These are great seats in the neutral area - level 3 on the halfway line, row B - great view.
Email me on amba_w_d@blueyonder.co.uk with an offer and I will let you know how much I am looking for. I am not looking for much more than the current high bid on the auction.
