When has Alexander ever let us down? Some dodgy kicking tonight but we've seen that from McGregor plenty of times and we can hardly blame him for the defeat.
He came in at the tail end of two seasons and did a great job, one because of McGregor being injured long term and the other due to his exploits at cameron house. Alexander was hard done by in losing the number 1 spot at the start of last season, plenty on here including myself felt he deserved to keep it until he lost form.
I'm assuming Smith made the Co-op Cup Alexander's competition to in some way reward him for coming in twice in pressure situations and being a model professional when he lost the number 1 place to McGregor not once but twice when he didn't really deserve too.
Alexander's done nothing to merit being dropped so it would just be another kick in the teeth, he's no doubt been told at the start of the last two seasons the League Cup is his competition so dropping him simply because it's against Celtic wouldn't be right.
We've got two great goalkeepers and i'm comfortable with either of them in goal, it really is the least of our worries and it certainly won't influence whether we win or lose on Sunday.
am not saying hes rubbish, but he doesnt fill me with confidence, doesnt command his area and has no presence, McGregors number 1 thts who should be starting the game, Rangers should play their best team every game, its a disgrace if Alexander plays because walter feels like he owes him a game, hes 2nd choice for a reason.

Alexander will keep the jersey that he's had for both league cup campaigns the last two seasons and rightly so.
your crazy, alexander isnt a patch on shagger and should be on the bench, why does walter feel he needs to give alexander a game if hes not the best goaly then should be on the bench end of !

i seen him play a few closed doors games and he was not upto much at all, was so surprised he got a contract, dont think he will play any part this season

if kyle laffertys best position is centre forward, he may aswell hang up his boots coz he is fucken terrible

i sat down to watch that septic game tonight hoping that the sheep would at least try. One minute in and there down to 10 men and septic have a penalty, just noticed aswell that septic have played aberdeen 4 times this year scoring 17 and conceding only 1. I was at aberdeen this year for the 3-2 game and it took a great 2nd half performance to save us from dropping points, yet aberdeen would be lucky to have 2 shots on goal against them, plus we all know we are a better side than septic so why is this and why hasnt something been done about this! also seen tonight that lemmon has played/managed against aberdeen sides 21 times and won 19 games, just think that something has to be done about this it is a clear form of cheating, what you guys think ?

i dont care how we play, aslong as we win. When it comes to the end of the season its about whos got the most points, i always see it as 'aslong as we win' but i obv would prefer we played good football but winning is all that matters. Want to see good football ? barca are usually on sky every weekend they wont dissappoint

aye true mate a bit of consistancy and everybody will be raving about him, i think if he plays off the striker on sunday at hampden he will be our star man

im just new to this mate, but my pals and that think hes the best thing we've had in years. To be fair i dont think he deserves pelters because its clear he does try just think he would be better in a free role type rather than stuck to a position, like the game against motherwell he was outstanding didnt do anything wrong the full game, yet against inverness he couldnt go passed ross tokely! haha

id take him no bother, he mite be one of them but right now we're short of numbers and on his game he can be a very good player and personally think Walter would get the best out of him and sort out his attitude, plus he can hit a free kick, something weve not had since Albertz

defo dont agree with that, i sit there every week hoping hes going to run the show, think iv seen him play 3 or 4 good games for us ? fair enough hes young and not use to our football but hes over rated by the fans. For a winger that cant go left he has no chance in football because he becomes to predictable, hope he proves me wrong because i like him but at the moment nowhere near one of our best players .

can you tell me why they were doing the huddle ? and some of the songs are terrible, steven whittaker, lee mcculloch and naismith songs are embarrasing!
