Its not a new team though, with the exception of Ortiz those players all know each others games inside out yet it looked like 11 guys out there who had never met until kick off.
The same issues that dogged our pre-season seemed to be the issues today too, leaky defence, no urgency and a lack of creativity going forward. McCoist needs to fix things but he doesn't have much time, or arguably the resources, to do it.
Under a new coach you really need to get off to a flying start and build up momentum to hopefully see you through any sticky spells. A couple more bad results and the pressure on McCoist will be incredible. Lets hope the eternal optimists who usually call results and performances like today 'a bad day at the office' are right and we see a massive improvement in our next game.
I never said it was a new team.. I said it was a team still being built, the gaffer has stated he wants and needs a few new players. We did lack a creative in the middle, that will come from Davis when we eventually push him in the middle and I expect a new CM at some point. As for the defence that is a known issue and the club are trying to get player in. It doesnt excuse the comments coming from that fucking disgrace of a bear though.

Fuck it... could have been a lot lot better but could have been far worse. A point against Hearts on the opening day with a squad that all of the management team agree needs some new faces is hardly a disaster.

With Rangerstv.tv can you watch SPL games live? I know they are advertising the game live for tomorrow to UK viewers but normally you cant get live games within the UK. Has this changes this season? Anyone use the service is it any good?
Alot cheaper than Sky Sports if all you are interested in is The Rangers.

Aye, it would be a disaster to loan good young players such as Danny Rose at nil cost to us. Where is the downside? Craig Whyte will not turn us into a feeder but might over Spurs first refusal on players if they can match the highest bid. I have no problem with that.

It was Linfields home game, the flute band was not arranged by us and its our fucking country anway! There is nothing illegal about a flute band.
I was not critising the club, I agree it was out with the clubs control. I was however pointing out to people who found the whole flute band behind McCoist hilarious and big GIRUY to timmy, that there was a bad side to it in a PR sense.
Of course there is nothing illegal about a flute band however it does ,as an image, represent something Rangers Football Club having been attempting to distance ourselves from. Unfortunately this fixture may not fit into Mr Whytes vision of the club and I would not be surprised to see it scrapped regardless of how we feel about it.
Craig Whyte has already started to fight for the club in the media about the way we are portrayed. Our manager being interviewed on national tv with that sight in the background damages that Im afraid.

The clubs image needs all the help it can get at the moment and having our manager interviewed with a flute band in the background in no way helps.
I cant see Mr Whyte keeping this fixture over the next few years as it damages his investment.
Sky Sports comparing it to the 12th of July doesnt help either... No matter how fucking funny it was.
Anyways good run out for the lads and I got high hopes for young Hemmings, heres hoping he aint the next John Fleck.

NOTE: I am playing a UK league. Started the 2010/11 season in the Championship and won it first time. Finished 12th first season in the Premier League. Won it the next 2 seasons. Won the Europa League my second season and the Champions League the third. Currently top of the league heading into Dec 2014.
That is my formation and strongest XI. That strike force is deadly and the defence solid. Boyata will score 8-10 a season from corners. Incredible team that just keeps on winning.

Our support is a fucking disgrace sometimes, one poor result and its all fucked. As I have said from day 1 its people like the OP that make it harder for the players not easier.
